http://ancient-mesoamerica-news-updates.blogspot.com/ Recently archaeologists of the Instituto Nacional de Antropología e Historia resumed exploration and research at the site of Ixcateopan, Guerrero, a settlement which was tributary to the Triple Alliance formed by Tenochtitlan, Texcoco y Tlacopan (Tacuba). Today, Thursday August 14, 2008, the website of the INAH provided a short report on the importance of the site and the continuation of its archaeological exploration, as well as information on some of the recent discoveries.
