I've found out than a couple of extra plastic bag clips save the necessity to tie the cards, when you leave the project. Seemed a quicker way to me:
And I used this as a shuttle:
My father made it ages ago of a wooden ruler. Again, saves time, because you don't need a shuttle AND a ruler. Just this shuttle, which IS the ruler.
