I'm so sorry to be slow with my response to this--I've been on airplanes since JUST before this was posted, pretty much! :D What a lovely romp, there's something particularly fun about these three having adventures together (I just re-read my prompt and realized I said the Avon-Gan friendship was fun, when of course I meant Vila-Gan, my goodness, what an error. But I'm pretty sure you understood what I meant, because this was just perfect!)

Vila and Gan and Avon were lovely and hilarious, each of them with their own unique approach to things, and Jenna and Cally and poor stressed-out-and-cranky Blake were also wonderful. Even Orac:

This time Vila organized a loud and eloquent protest and won three more days, as Cally took his side, and Orac visualized a graph depicting the time it takes a human body to recover from fatigue.

I could just see all of them arguing and Orac chiming in helpfully. :D

Gan managed to get into the suite hidden in a maid’s trolley

Now THAT is an image that will keep me smiling for days, as will Avon's appreciation--from a very safe distance--of Servalan's poisonous beauty.

Thank you so much for this, it felt like it absolutely could have been a real episode, and I suspect it would have been one of my favorites. *grin*

Thank you! It's been a pleasure to write it. Though I didn't realize you've made a mistake in your prompt, and asked Avon and Gan to make friends. Gan didn't mind, but Avon said nothing and went to his room :)

Gan and the maid's trolly? Gan got there himself, without my help, as for me, I agree with Avon. It was a stupid thing to do :)

gan and the maid's trolly is my not-secret favourite part too! although i also enjoy avon trying to get rid of gan all the time, and gan's dedication to truth and justice! also both vila and gan arriving at avon's room at almost the same time, which is a lovely comedy moment.
