So today was a really good day. I had an interview at Salon Blo, which is the salon I mentioned in my last post. When I walked in, they had Sex and the City playing on all the TVs. <3 It went really really really well, and I have a second interview tomorrow morning with the owner. It's $10/hour, which is more than what I was expecting, so that's really good. The woman that was interviewing me was telling me that they rent out the space for parties and that INSTYLE magazine has already used them twice and they just called yesterday for a third party, which is really cool, I think! The owner also owns a shop a couple stories above the salon called Elaina Lily, which is a clothing/accessory store that actually has fashion designers on staff because you can bring in clothes that you want re-vamped, and they'll alter them for you. You can also go in there and tell them what you want and they'll make things from scratch! I just think that it's freaking awesome! I hope I get discounts. I would totally love to get one-of-a-kind pieces!!! I'm starting to get a little nervous about my funds though....I need them to start working me asap. I really hope I get it. Oh, here's a picture of the front of the salon. I'll have to sneak a picture of the inside soon!



After the interview I decided to go downtown because I was dressed up and had nothing to do. My friend Bradley met up with me and he was my little tour guide. He works at a restaurant and gets 50% off alot of different places around town so we had lunch for $2.50! haha It was awesome.

It's going to be 50 degrees here on Sunday....I'm so excited! It's going to be warm!! It's been in the teens for long enough, danget! Plus the wind chill puts it in the negatives....I really love the cold though.

I love this city.
