Happy Easter Memories
Hello, my lovely readers! (not like I have a fanbase or anything) I know it's been forever since my last post, but life has been long and tiring as of late. And it's not over yet. In the next few weeks I'll have to deal with a project presentation, a 10-15 page paper over something I really don't know about, an 8-10 page paper on something that's fairly interesting, and a crap load of internship work to do. But, que sera sera!
Easter was hilarius this year. The only thing missing was Daddy's laughter ringing through the house. I hope he had a good Easter in NC. I can't wait until the rest of the family moves out to join him. It's so hard on him being alone out there. But now for the fun stuff!
We did our traditional "Sacrificial Lamb cake" this year. For those that don't know, my family started making chocolate cake shaped like a lamb when I was little. Then, when I was a teenager I decided I wanted a red velvet cake that year. We've kept it that way ever since. Now every Easter is a new version of the wedding reception from Steel Magnolias! Justin found this incredibly amusing. He even claimed the head (which is usually MY portion, but I don't mind him getting it this year). We got some pretty morbid pics of us cutting pieces off this poor thing. It was disturbing and incredibly amusing all at once. I hope you all had a great Easter! Now to buckle down and get some serious work done.
