Do/Did You Care About
OK, I was going to do this long thing that was in Sasha's LJ to kill some time I should be spending on my paper, but I think I'll just go ahead and make a post because the library laptop mousepad is super sensative and keeps deleting the stupid quiz. (How's that for a long sentence?)
So today makes 2 years with Justin. And lo! He drives to San Antonio. Yes. Where my family lives. Care to guess what that means?
In other news, I'm in the library typing out a 1200 word paper on Shakespeare's 15th sonnet. So, here's the text.
When I consider every thing that grows
Holds in perfection but a little moment,
That this huge stage presenteth naught but shows
Whereon the stars in secret influence comment;
When I perceive that men as plants increase,
Cheerèd and checked even by the selfsame sky,
Vaunt in their youthful sap, at height decrease,
And wear their brave state out of memory;
Then the conceit of this inconstant stay
Sets you most rich in youth before my sight,
Where wasteful Time debateth with Decay
To change you day of youth to sullied night;
And, all in war with Time for love of you,
As he takes from you I engraft you new.
So now, it's class participation time. If you care to, and want to see some of your work in my paper, feel free to give some constructive suggestions on things you see in this. Or you can just make up a bunch of useless crap. Or you can say something completely irrelevant. At this point I really don't care. So go out and be poetical. Or just be weird. Whatever.
