Dancing Ovaries
To help prepare for my upcoming undergrad Creative Nonfiction class next week, I purchased a copy of Ma'am Hidalgo's "Creative Nonfiction: A Manual for Filipino Writers". I absolutely salivate over new books. They're just so... smooth, and so ready to be creased and written in /evil laughter.
Hey, it's a textbook, designed for such abuse. It also has a little 100 Years sticker on the front cover. It always helps if the first thing you see before reading anything is the naked Oblation, his man-parts artistically shrouded in his maroon shadow.
I'm also conducting an Introduction to Theater class. I can't imagine what sort of small stage show we'll produce this year, but I hope it's a shiny one. I wonder how far I can bend the gender rules in DLSC /rubs palms together My idea is we perform a simple switch play or two, with the women as the male characters and the men as the female.Or maybe we can do that for one play and do a normal more traditional one for the next. Or a silent film on stage. I don't know, I'm just seeew excited, and I hope the students have a ton of fun as well XD
And my friend Dabz came home from Bangkok and gave me a souvenir! I told him I wanted something shiny and gay, so he got me this!

The Ovary (at least that's what I call it), that pink plastic flower thing, has tiny solar panels that make it dance when it's hit by sunlight XD Isn't that just one of the gayest things you've ever seen? I'll post a .gif of it dancing tomorrow if I can xD
So many deadlines coming up! Good thing I just have to focus on completing my syllabi this weekend. And then I'll try to get more writing done. Prof. H and D just inspire me every time we have class XD
