This has become a trend for me, doing a weekly recap post instead of giving you guys the daily dose of total randomness.
Let's see how this week went, shall we?
Monday: I had an exam, along with Kyoy and Jo, in JS 100 (that's Japan Studies for the uninitiated). While the exam was almost exactly the same as the one I had in JS 100 (maybe a month or so ago), I doubt that I did any better this time around. I mean, sure, I rememorized all those damn prefectures and regions, and the Sea of Okhotsk is permanently ingrained in my subconscious, but I still for the life of me cannot explain in full certainty what the hell off-shore and on-shore winds have to do with the Japanese culture, if that was even the question. And what San-in and ?San-yo? mean....all I remember studying is Hokkaido (North Sea Route DX) SEE. I would have remembered it if it was discussed. Which could mean that I didn't attend class when it was skimmed over. But I attended 4 out of 5 classes with Sir Mabasa......how could I have missed it??
Tuesday: Mr. Nemenzo (did I get it right?) was absent, replaced by the forever bubbly Madam Umali, who told us that we would be dancing for her at the end of the term D: I don't remember what I had for lunch....OH RIGHT. I had a Big Stick at Nismed, because Madam Fajardo had invited the JS 100 class for udon at 12:30 XD I had....1 and a half onigiri and a bowl of udon~ and then we watched a documentary video of Matsuyama, where we saw the hot spring place that the one in Spirited Away was based on. :3 It was up a high hill, and very cold. There was a free hot spring footbath when you got to the top, so....o.o CL 145 was again random, being more about Sir C's escapades and victorious matches than the actual text, which does not mean that it wasn't educational~
Wednesday: Drew my unicorn and photocopied Kamikaze for Madam Duque. I am quite pleased that I know all of my professor's names this early in the sem~ I'm guilty of not reading the readings (ohairedundancy), but I get by. There were 3 other AME people in my class after all, and Mr. Derpo, who is quite good at occupying Madam Duque's attention. I didn't go to French class, and i was relieved to find out that they only went to the AVR to watch a SPANISH FILM. The world has gone mad.
I did go to the GA though (yes, a GA, not a Memcom meeting), the first of the year. I saw faces I haven't seen in a long time. Including Sara and Drea. Where we decided to have another good go at music making~
So, I formally announce our new music machine. We are pleased to present The EchoLocators \o/ (name courtesy of orgasm-chan♥) - Boibando Extraordinario.
We hung around at the FC steps after the GA was over, where Nadinner gave all of us tiny keychains made of ?sculpee? The boys had maki, while the girls were given lollipops. Nadinner gave me a lollipop necklace earlier that day, which was bigger than the ones on the keychains, making me the Lolli-Queen (watdoesnotcompute) of the Hidden Lolli-village and heading the fight against the Hidden Maki./stopgeek
Thursday: Was the shortest day this week, in my opinion. BUT WAIT. This was when Nanady gave me a Starbuko planner (very many thanks!!! but why maria why....i wish to understand your sadistic ways....AND WHERE IS LULU-ROBOT ANIMU???) and we had lunch in Nismed..where our Token Chinese Dude set the discussion to how people eat their food.
Stychen: Masarap na kinakagat muna bago lunukin.
Nigel: Pinapasok ko muna sa loob, using my tongue of course.
*on how to eat a mcd's sundae cone. edit if needed :))
Friday: I had to go to the hospital to accompany my ickle cousin because she had to get her stitches removed.
It was a good week, though I did resolute that I WILL NO LONGER MISS A SINGLE CLASS. I fear French very much... I must work harder and do good at the coming exams...
I wish all of you guys had a good one too~ goodnight~~~~~~~
