I've just finally got around to pressing the "send" button on my reply to your email, that has been sitting in my drafts folder all weekend! ;)
I really love reading about the positive changes you're making, the outlook you've got on life and the steps you're so brilliantly making to get a tight hold on the life that you want! You're an inspiration to me, do you know that?! *hugs*
I have such an overactive imagination and allowed myself to build things up in my head, so when I found out he has a serious girlfriend I was crushed. Crushed.
I did i very similar thing this week, and felt a huge sense of disappointment when entering a follow up meeting in this guys online diary to see the words "Getting Married". I think sometimes it's difficult not to play out the hopes and "what ifs" with someone that you like.
I love your idea of everyone receiving a lifetime achievement evening - it's a shame you appear to need to be famous for it to happen! ;)
I'll feel very disappointed if my life is never presented to me as a series of home movies and photos set to a music compilation - having said that i hate being the centre of attention so probably wouldn't enjoy it as much as i think i would! ;) *laughs* Doing them for other people, though? Brilliant idea. :)
Also, i've heard great thing about the Twilight series of books! I think it was Dina who mentioned them to me as well. Might have to have a look.
You saying that I'm an inspiration... I don't feel worthy, but thank you. I am touched by that, and it makes me want to keep working hard. You inspire me as well, Nic. Please know that! *hugs you back*

It really is. I get carried away sometimes. I need to work on that! The disappointment is not pleasant.
I'll let you know what I think of Twilight. I've got one other book I want to read first, and then I think I'll be going into that one.
