Pool Rules!
I've been playing some wicked good pool lately! My husband and I play in a 9-Ball Scotch Doubles league. Last week I made an amazing side pocket bank shot and we ran out our first game. Last night I almost had a 9-ball combo. So close... Bob put the 9 ball in on the snap. It was our best night so far. I realize for those of you that don't shoot pool that probably sounded like "blah, blah, blah, yada, yada, yada." I'm still surprised when I mention I play in a pool league that many people are shocked. I think the only image they have of pool players is from an old movie where some biker guy smacks another biker guy over the head with a pool cue and a drunken brawl ensues. I've been playing in a league for years and nobody has ever smacked anyone with their cue. And pool's not just for bikers anymore! Lots of couples play pool -- we think of it as our "date night." We go out to eat, play some pool, laugh a lot, sing along to the jukebox... Pool is Cool!
