Helping Out the Easter Bunny

Apr 06, 2007 14:48

My boys (both in college) are too old for Easter baskets, right? Wrong! We may not hunt for plastic eggs or dye the real things but they WILL each be getting an Easter basket! Actually they're getting gift bags full of goodies. Shopping was fun but frustrating because neither one of them really like sweets. Yes, I =know= they are both mine. We've double checked their DNA... So instead of chocolate bunnies, chocolate eggs, Peeps and all that other sugary stuff, they're getting Goldfish crackers and tea/coffee, beef jerky, peanuts and stuff like that. It may not be as colorful as some Easter baskets but it's probably a lot healthier.

I have my temporary crown (on a tooth, not my head) so for the next 2 weeks while they make my custom-made, permanent one, I can't eat anything sticky. That means NO jelly beans! ARG! It's the only time of the year I crave those sticky, gooey things...

HAPPY EASTER and may the bunny fill your basket with your favorite goodies!
