#7 NINO ON INDONESIAN MAGAZINE
while I was on my duty to search for practice book for my little brother, I also went to the magazine section to see if there is a new gadget magazine I could read . AND SURPRISINGLY ! I FOUND THIS

Arashi is not as famous as Super junior, 2pm, Girl’s Generation and the others Korean artists in my country . Only few of Japanese artist could famous on my country, one of them is Arashi . The others ? Maybe Yui, L’arc-en-ciel~, NEWS, Yamapi and the others . The other factors that makes Arashi is less popular in my country is because lack of Japanese magazine in my country . If I count it, then it is only anime magazine though T.T . Japanese magazine is only provided in a booklet or even only one page ! from all about 50 until hundreds of pages . That’s why, when one of the magazine in Indonesia write about Japanese artist especially Arashi it would be a huge news (at least for me XP) . Please correct me if I am the only one who lack of information of Japanese Artist magazine in Indonesia .
Bintang is indonesian magazine which talk about artist from all over the world . But sadly, for Japanese Artist, they only providing one page . After last January they wrote about ARASHI, now finally they wrote about Ninomiya Kazunari . You can get it on Bintang Magazine number 1001 third week of July 2010 .

“It’s like that I sell two and a half hours of time and people buy the ticket to watch . Of course I have a big responsibilty for this. I don’t want they think that ‘give back my time!’ No matter what the method, I have to make them contented . But in the end, I still couldn’t control it . They have full right to complaining if they don’t like what they’ve got, because that I will do the same thing if I were in their position if I already paid the ticket, but I didn’t get the a great one show . Even if it was my friend’s work, I will talk frankly to him . Except that if I didn’t pay the ticket, then I will feel that I don’t have a right to complaining, haha,” said Ninomiya Kazunari (27) when he was asked how good was his stageplay . From his statement which also contained joke, we sure that you can immediately make a conclusion how is Nino view of his career . He amazed us with his dedication to his career . There is no single word as “ineptly” in his life . His status as super popular artist which has tons of fans can’t make Nino do his work just as he like . “To be under the spotlight is not an easy work you know . Every single movement you made, you have to be responsible for it . There are a lot of people out there who watch my show after tired with their daily activity . If I don’t give out what I can, then they will be dissappointed . Reversely, if I play really good in my stageplay, who knows that it can become a motivation for them to go to work”.

As the member of one of the most popular boyband in Japan, Arashi, this man whose height of 168cm is alway ‘all out’ in every of his performance, even in a different way with acting . “Both Stageplay or singing and dancing in a concert are live show . But both of them certainly have a different sensation . When I’m acting on a drama of movie, I wear a mask of the character I play . But when it comes to concert, I have to be my ownself . Both of them are difficult, but I think it is harder for me to be directly faced with the concert audience . I think it is normal, since when I am in a stageplay, I can say anything I want, even using harsh words is okay, audience won’t be disturbed because it is already a part of my character . But if I say the same thing when we (Arashi) hold a concert, there will be a tons of audience who dislike it . So I have to be carefully saying a thing,” said Nino .
Responsibility as the group member also train him to pull down his selfishness, because he also have to understand his partner way of thinking and feeling . “I remember that I had forgot a dialog when I was in my stageplay... but it will never happen on a concert . I always prepare everything are already set on its place . In our concert, we are not only singing and blabbering with the audience . We want to make the concert flowing softly . Even that sometimes, a unexpected thing occured . For an example, when one of the member is absent or have a problem, we have to thinking quickly what should we do so the audience see that nothing has change and in the end, we must still have the audience contented with the show . I totally can’t relax even for a second . It is different from stageplay . I don’t have to be worried with unimportant things related with my stageplay because I have director who is responsible for it . I just have to concentrate on what should I do .”
BALANCING ACTING AND SINGING
Nino already have his professionalism since the debut of his career . Even that because of his strictness toward himself, Nino who joined Johny’s Enterntainment in age of thirteen because of his cousin who sent an application form named of him without his permission, was said to be arrogant and likes to look down on the other . But the fact is, it was his way to put himself naturally . There are a lot of will to keep going and to reach various achievement in his heart . So it won’t be strange that his career is keep going to the top . “I love to learn . That’s my way of living my life”, he said .
Far before he was joined and debuted in Hawai’i in 1999, Nino trained his talent on acting on stageplay “Stand by Me” together with his nowaday partner Aiba Masaki and Matsumoto Jun . Unfortunately, after that stageplay, Nino become vacuum for seven years from stageplay and prefer to play on tv drama . His first lead role in drama was in Abunai Houkago (Dangerous Afterschool) together with Shibutani Subaru who was acted as his step brother . On that period, Nino’s schedule was extremely dense . Moreover, along with his boyband join the volleyball tournament and have to play on short drama V no Arashi . Due to his busy schedule on that time, his weight was decreased for 7kg in a month !
Several years later, Nino who birth on June 17th 1983 keep showing his talent . If it is about Arashi, everybody already know how fenomenal Arashi is . But the great thing is that Nino’s solo career is also going smoothly . Various of unique and outstanding character have been played . Started from a role as a student who realize that he is one of the four boys who still virgin in their school in Stand Up!!, his acting was appreciated as the best actor in the 10th Rendora 110 Award, a boy whose girlfriend misteriously turned into 16cm tall in romantic drama Minami-kun no Koibito (Minami’s Girlfriend), a boy who intuitively kill his mother and then having gap in relationship with his father in drama Yasashii Jikan (Affectionate Time), until became an authistic boy who later become a marathon athlete which the story was taken from the real life story . In 2008, Nino also given the chance to co-starring with Nishikido Ryo and Toda Erika in Ryusei no Kizuna . His acting was so outstanding that he was brought home the 49th Monte-Carlo Television Festival as the Outstanding Actor . This year too, Nino played in Saigo no Yakusoku (The Last Promise) as Yamagowa Shuji, security guarder on monitoring of a building which is hijacked by a group of criminal . With those unique characters, his hard work turn him to be enjoyed played his roles . “I admit that on the unimportant things such as age, I will usually forget about it, hahaha . If it is about script, I prefer not to memorize it . Not because my memorizing ability is bad, but it would be better and I could deliver the character’s feeling to the audience with my own interpretation, it will be more freely and fun . I think it is something like that which is needed by the audience.”
From all of the achievement he received, Nino’s name is also related to Letters From Iwo Jima, movie which was produced by Clint Eastwood . Beside that he is become the first Johny’s Entertainment’s Talent who played in Hollywood Production Film, his name also become more popular until the international award program! Movie which ticket was sold over 13 millions papers in its first ten days sale in America itself, was received award as the best foreign language movie in the 64th Golden Globe Awards . “I am so proud that I could work together with Clint . Beside that it was gave me another challenge, it also opened my mind to become wider to accept all kind of chance for me to prepare for all the new things . I will keep doing my best and doing my best,” he said .
Okay, you already heard a long story about Nino’s achievement in acting . How about in singing ? Is he capable to produce his own song along with Arashi ? Nino made his own song titled “Kako” which sang by him on Arashi’s Iza, Now! tour . Nino who is able to play guitar, bass, harmonica and piano also created a song for bonus song “Fight Song” on Love so Sweet single and used in Arashi’s G no Arashi variety show . In 2008, he also wrote lyric and joined in making his another solo project, Gimmick Game . His love in those two different field, sometimes make him have to leave one of them in order to be focused in his work . “I’m not kind of selective type in chosing work . “Every job I do with my passion, I will do it until it is finished . Acting and singing make their own balance in myself . Even sometimes I feel tired and wanted to stop, but my passions and dreams always encourage me to keep fighting .
