(no subject)
so its been a while. a looooong while if you will.
tonight was a good time. dunand calls me up and we decide its time for a brewsky at the tartan. so we head off there and are like "we gotta get more ppl here" give carty a call (yeaaaa carty!!) and dub and dunands friend vicky who was really chill. and so we all down a pint, having a good time enjoying ourselves with a beer, and then the bartender comes over and is like "so did you hear that girl fall down the stairs?" and we didnt understand..apparently some girl fell down the stairs on her way for a smoke, and gashed her leg open and was taken away in an ambuolance? the fuck? how did we not hear any of that commotion???
so the night carries on till about 1:00 ish where i have a great convo with the bartenders. one of which went to nepean. we got into talking about how the bartenders (sam and dan) didnt think a girl could chug alcohol...well that is the only way i can drink the stuff. so sam takes the 26er of goldshlager off the bar and gives it to me, which i successfully chugged. they could not believe it, infact they shook my hand. it was kinda cool actually. since they are now cool and know me on a first name basis ("hey lydia, can i get you another drink?")
so dub drops me off at dunands after that episode so that i can pick up my bike and bike home...now drunk. so i decide its a good time to call jason, because i promised i would once i was home/heading home. make the mistake of biking drunk, while on the phone..almost crash into a stop sign..how ironic.
at any rate! good news. i got a job at olympus enterprise for world vision...then quit 2 days later because 100% commision, as well as a boss who wants in your pants SUCKS anal. yeah. thats right. so i'm currently looking for full time work again because i need to save money for dal. which will be awesome ps- and if anyone wants to visit me there you can stay in my room and i'll show you how much of a party town hali is. woot woot erica. speaking of which, she is home now which makes things awesome. she's my good friend. also the cousin of my BEST friend mary..so tats cool. but yeah we're going out thursday to welcome her back to o-town, and that should be a blast, so im looking forward to thursday night.
well for some reason im having this huge mcdonals craving..possibly because i havnt had it in about 8 months..so im tempted to bike to mcdicks and get some sort of meal..yeah...that is what i will do.
