So we moved to the United Kingdom from Canada in July. We're here for three years and then back we go. I'm loving it so far - no job yet, but that's alright. There's still plenty to keep me busy. Awwww, and I was so happy to see another author from Canada, but at least you're coming back. (I'm in Ontario, despite whatever my lj profile may say --- I switch between truth and California when registering accounts *shrug*).
And I totally second your idea of "getting back into writing". I had Complete Me withdrawal so bad I reread Broken Pieces just last week (this is not to say that I haven't been reading and rereading CM since the last time you updated that). And I don't like to badger about "when is the next chapter coming?" so I was just despairing over the necessity of waiting.
Thank you for the comfort of your considering to write again, of your presence in Dokuga while you get back into writing, and thank you for unintentionally answering the ever unspoken "when is the next chapter coming?" prod. hahahah!

Dokuga_contest is definitely the way to go to get back into writing. It's so fun! erm, actually,.... I should have passed my "use Dokuga as a launchpad" stage and gotten back into ffnet by now... but it's so fun!!! (not that....I've been posting there recently... oops. hahaha.

Ha ha...I'm kind of embarrassed by BP now, but I did start rereading CM so maybe I will be able to push out a chapter - although I think I'm going to take the drabble route from now on. It's much less intimidating.
I just love dokuga. The challenges are AWESOME.
