Traumatizing Children through Books - what WERE they thinking?!

  I read a funny (and sad) top-ten list today about the worst books for children in history! I couldn't believe they actually existed. Well, with the exception of Hiroshima No Pika, really - which looks like something I might look at just because it's historical,and for The Poodle-Pug-Dachshund-Pinscher which is just another example of Nazi hate propaganda, the others just look like the result of combining good intentions but incredibly poor judgment. With titles like Latawnya, The Naughty Horse, Learns to Say “No” to Drugs, The House That Crack Built and Who Cares About Disabled People?, who can argue?!
