picking up the virtual journal again
I just realized that I haven't blogged in a long time. I have abandoned the traditional sense of blogging for the instant gratification and immediacy of micro blogging. God Bless Iphone apps.
Its been a long time coming but I am finally blissful in many aspects of my life. Lots of it having to do with the fact that I am 32 now and basically have mentally grown up, not to mention that I have a wonderful boyfriend and I have finally achieved a career goal that I have been working towards for the last 4 years. I finally moved in with Matt and I'm really happy. I finally feel like a responsible adult moving forward with life. Retraining was such a stressful ordeal and I often felt stagnated as all my other friends were advancing in their careers, making kids, and buying houses. Such is life I guess and no one ever said that we all have to follow the pack and abide by the unwritten rules of how one is "supposed" to lead their adult life.
Although wholly an adult, I'm still a 12 year old at heart. I intend on racing at next year's big wheel race in SF and anticipating in the next zombie flash mob - attainable goals with bragging rights upon completion.
