(no subject)
Im going to try and update more frequently... It gives me something to do and yeah... i guess thats about it....
Tomorrow I leave for AZ to visit the grandparents - I love going out there - its so nice and relaxing - and I miss my g'rents.... they will soon be moving to Arkansas/Missouri to live near their other kid... which is sad.... but at least Ill get to see that part of the country soon enough - apperantly Ill be flying out that way during christmas time .... doesnt it snow out there?!? i dunno what to do with myself!.... I decided that for next winter Im going to invest in those "fashion rainboots" which I honestly thought was the stupidest thing - but then realized instead of using them for fashion, I could use them for their real purpose - to not get my feet, socks, and pants soaked when Im at school.... last year I ended up wearing flipflops because I hated walking around in wet socks all day!
Getting back to my AZ story.... my mom and sister flew out there yesterday since they can afford to take more time off than I - which will be interesting since I really dont get along with both, but havent spent more than 24 hours with either of them for a year now...... my sister notified me that Friday we're going to go floating down a river (which is tying tubes or rafts together and drifting - if ya dont know) which will be kinda cool except for a few reasons:
1) I will get burnt to a crisp and suffer the rest of my vacation
2) I will be compelled to wear my bikini which is not cute for my size girl
3) Am afraid that my mother and friends will bring alcohol tempting me to drink with my family - which is a very new thing for me and could be quite awkward
in any case, im sure ill let ya'll know when I get back
On a few other Travel points..... I found a great deal today for Jamaica - 6 nights air and hotel for $400 with taxes - amazing! my dad checked out the hotel and its not a resort or anything, but very nice with good reviews.... we have to travel before the end of October.... my sister said its so low because its hurricane season - me and my dad are like, who cares! its JAMAICA! and at that cost, its cheaper than a R/T plane ticket anywhere these days! So its looks like I may be going to Jamaica soon - how exciting!
I am also currently planning my grad present to my self -> Summer 2007 in Europe! its the "Ultimate Eurpoean" Trip proviede by Contiki Tours ( www.contiki.com) and is 48 days and 16 countries! There is a 5 day layover at their resort on the island of Mykonos, Greece..... its all going to be incredible! Check it out! if you want to go, let me know, the more ppl that sign up together, the cheaper it can become! If you have any questions, feel free to ask - ive been researching this for 6 months! I actualy tried to get an internship with them, but I got runner up :(
I guess thats enough for today - i should be working - its already 3:20 and im off at 5! wooo-who!
