thank you for patching Guitar hero world tour so that my $400 dollar Ion Drums actually work properly. I also noticed you tweaked some crazy shit in the music studio. an instruction manual on all the nuances of said feature would be nifty.
thanks,
ChZuck.

the good-
-open notes are cool.
-freestyle points on the drums in the middle of songs is neat.
-the solo sections on the guitar are also cool as well as the held notes while other notes come up.
-the difficulty overall feels downgraded from guitar hero 2 and 3.(this IS a GOOD thing.)
-theres about a dozen songs in here that are really fun.
-the tool venue. wow.
-while it is no replacement for a No Fail mode, the beginner difficulty is a good idea.
-hitting both cymbals to activate star power feels right.
-the first comfortable guitar hero guitar on the 360!
the bad-
-open notes in the song creator cannot sustain.
-my drums drop snare notes randomly. (neen's drop notes everytime you have to hit the snare with anything else on the kit.)
-is the yellow pad on the touch strip suppossed to autostrum? i think mines broken.
-80 songs and i really only like 1/4th of them.
-characters are still ugly as hell.(girls are cuter though.)
-you cannot find the star power meter OR the multiplier while your playing, even after you figure out where they are.
-the way star power is held, activated and used, while different, is just bleh. it barely supports teamwork if at all.
-songs are still overcharted. an even bigger sin on drums than it is on the guitar.
-lack of effects when activating star power makes me miss rock band.
-the touch strip, while a neat idea, is just another thing for me to fuck with and lose my multiplier.
