I'm back ... unfortunetly
My website is down for some unknown reason. The server admin hasn't been seen in months and I'm beginning to wonder if I'll ever get my site back. Tis but a sad and tragic thing. But, alas, at least I have here to come back to.
So, what's the skinny ? Well, a lot actually. Right now I'm busy getting all sick and gross thanks to many parties I'm sure. It's not so much the nastiness in my throat and nose that bothers me. It's the mortal weakness that is ensued. I feel like a 4 year old who isn't able to pick anything up over 10 lbs. Ugh, I feel just wonderful. But, on the somewhat bright side, I got to call in sick to my CNA job b/c of it. There's no way I'm going to stand on my feet all night and transfer old ppl. I'd die, not to mention inflict my nastiness on them. What else was I to do but spend the day watching movies and eating ice cream ? What ? I deserved it ! =P
My trip to Canada went well. My only complaint was that it wasn't long enough, but then again, what vacation isn't ? My mom had a good time and enjoyed the scenery (Except for the part where I made her cross the suspension bridge. She was a little unhappy w/ me over that one, haha !) We even got to go up to Whistler for the day and it was awesome. We took the gondolas up to the top of a mountain and got some good pics. The weather was perfect and the scenery was beautiful. We even stopped by Shannon Falls on the way up. Was definetly a day well spent.
My mother also got to meet Ren's mom, his sister and her husband and kids, and they all got along great. She's just happy I found a good guy w/ an equally good family. She keeps telling me that at least the potential in-laws are friendly. I just shake my head at her and walk away. What else am I supposed to do ? *snickers*
I started school again. One of my classes is going to be the worst waste of time ever. At least I should be able to come out of the class w/ an A w/ little effort. What's the class you ask ? Comp. Literacy. Haha, I know. But, it's a recommended supplement class, and I needed the credits. I'm running out of classes to take, so easy A class, here I come ! I'm almost regretting it, however, as the 1st day we went over what a desktop, taskbar, toolbar, scroll bar, etc. are. *snore* Ah well, at least I'll get a GPA boost.
Speaking of GPA ... they messed up my grades last quarter. I got a B+ in pathophysiology (which, is pretty damn good for the little effort I put into the class, haha). However, my transcript shows that I got a B. After flipping out and calling my teacher, she told me she'd take care of it. So I did actually get a B+, it's just that my college has issues. Ah well, nobody's perfect I guess. As long as they fix their mistake. Bastards !
I miss Vancouver already. Who wants to donate to my fund to go back in June ? Anybody ? Damn, you guys suck ! ;p
