Where have I been?

for those of you wondering what's happened to me, I'm currently under a clinch. I promised to get at least an alpha version of my mac/windows opencanvas program. Currently, I'm getting loads of work done... it's looking very spiffy, and I've reinvented it at least six times now... but forcing myself to get an alpha out is helping me finally iron out the issues... if you want to know more, just keep reading:

Here's what I expect out of the alpha:

File saving.(no way to export anything yet... just use screenshots if you need jpegs or something for now)
Basic session recovery (for crashes).
One basic brush, one advanced brush.
Basic canvas sharing (you can watch someone else paint on their own canvas, but can't interact yet).
Basic undo/redo.
Works well on mac (windows may have to wait before stability comes around... but shouldn't be hard at all).

The beta could be anyone's guess, but in another month or two, I plan on making fully editable brushes, a full automatic sketch cleaning eraser (detects the strongest line using several methods, and also learns from how the user sketches). People will also be able to not only sketch together on separate canvases but also share a canvas (undo will add a bit of overhead, however, so there will be an option to turn it off for people with slower internet connections since an undo can, in the worst case, cause a bunch of crosstalk).

I want the fellow to do some amazing stuff that I haven't told anyone yet, and I won't release the name of the program until I've at least finished the alpha release.

In other news, I'll be posting some crazy stuff on devart when I get around to it (As always), and I'm busily working on some new music... it's very spiffy.

I ran out of christmas gift ideas so I asked my sister for a second tablet D: (I'm sorry! so sorry! I feel like such a loser to have two tablets when some people have none XC )...(I seriously have a problem sometimes coming up with things I 'want').

Expect this journal to update, since my roomie/bro has shown major interest in us making an RPG game together for windows and xbox 360 (Yes, I really have no life, if you haven't realized it yet). It shall be simple, arcade-ish, and full of as many jokes as possible (expect things like politicians with shotguns and nerds with swingline staplers for weapons... of course, my roomie isn't as corny as me, so he'll do everything in his power to keep such characters from happening).

*continues to blab on and on, but you tune it out because you have better things to do than listen to a blubbering geek*
