Well, I finally decided to actually write in this thing and write an entry. It's a good way to express your emotions in a cathartic way. Enough of the psychological bullshit though. Life has been awesome in Coral Gables, I miss my friends back home all the time but I made a lot more here. Right now I have a few things going on. I am in the process of applying to be a Resident Assistant next year. I had my first interview today for the residential college I live in now and I have another one next week. I think I did pretty well but it all depends on what they want. I really hope I get it because I get free room and board, my own room, a thousand dollars, and hopefully leverage to get my parents to let me buy a car!
Besides that, I'm just making plans for my summer. I might go to Chile to study Spanish for a month which is so exciting! I want to go so bad and if my parents let me I will explode! How awesome would it be to finally get out of the country and finally see something else? I'm mostly excited about learning about their culture and actually being able to speak better Spanish (which would be very useful down here in Miami.) My summer will consist of working at Outback Steakhouse every moment of my life, running when I can, taking some summer classes, and hopefully seeing some of my Miami friends in between.
You know right when you get over someone and then they have to come back and change things up? It's a mess...girls make me crazy. Not kidding. As Albert Einstein said, "Put your hand on a hot stove for a minute and it seems like an hour. Sit with a pretty girl for an hour and it seems like a minute. Now that's relativity." Sigh...
That's my new friend Kimberly! We had FunDay with the special citizens today...it made me realize the simple pleasures of life. Point to ponder...is ignorance bliss?
