NYC, Here I come
As I had mentioned in my New Years post (which was so long ago now, I can't believe it's already March), there was a chance of me going to NYC. Well, it's official! =)
Back in January, a group of us in my research lab were going crazy writing papers for a conference. Yesterday, we found out the results. One of my papers (the one that I'm first author for) was accepted into the conference. =) I can't believe it got accepted since we tried submitting the same paper last year and it got rejected. I'm just so happy right now. =)
So, in September, I (along with other people from my lab) will be heading to NYC to attend and present my paper (to be made available online when I have a final version of it) in front of HUNDREDS of experts... Scary thought..... Trying not to think about it right now. Instead, I'm just excited that it got accepted and that I'll be able to see Shocky and Ben again. It's going to be so great. =) Can't wait.
