Arashi's Message - CallingxBreathless
大野: It's the release in Japan of our new fashionable single 'CallingxBreathless'! And we are bringing it to you through a conversation with all the members of Arashi.
嵐： Yes!
松本： Will this be our 40th one?
二宮： Nino is happy!! Haha
櫻井： The thing that will be remembered is that this 40th single has two A-sides!
大野： Till now, I thought that this was around the 20th single by now.
相葉： We already have a lot of releases, ne.
櫻井： All of us have only been doing our jobs, haven’t we? We have also finished by now.
相葉： ’Calling’ is the theme song of my drama ‘Last Hope’ that plays on Tuesday evening at 9 on Fuji Television.
櫻井： There is also a serialization on J-web, ne, Aiba Hope. When will this fictitious name come off?
相葉： I wonder if this will be the last time, haha. Both the song and the drama have this theme of equal lives and aspirations. Till now, we haven’t really got any song with a taste of rock in it. This A-track is short, ne!
大野： Yea. And I love the feeling of speed in it.
櫻井： It’s a piece of music that’s worth and easy to air guitar on it, ne.
松本： Aiba, your drama’s theme song, it had the image of having a lot of tender parts. When having heard it was a drama about medical care, one would think it would be a heart-warming song but when the tough part came, I was really surprised, haha
二宮： Yea. It’s different from the image of a drama that’s stimulates your imagination.
櫻井： But when watching the drama I understood it you know! Aiba-san!

二宮： ’Breathless’ is the theme song of the movie I perform in, that will come out for public on Saturday 3/16, ‘Platina Data’. In Arashi we have also one kind of genre that we are always getting back at, ne. It's like one of our roots.
相葉： Yes Yes, and it’s even been a long time since we danced so much in a PV, ne.
大野： Dancing with all our might has been a real long time.
櫻井： But which appearance was it again?
相葉： ’Truth’?
櫻井： Such a long time ago?
松本： We also danced in ‘Monster’, right? And in ‘Lotus’.
嵐： Aaah, it was ‘Lotus’!

松本： Yes, that’s true. I received the chance to see ‘Platina Data’! At the ending you could hear ‘Breathless’!

櫻井： The coupling song ‘All right!!’ is a rock song with a high spirit. We are calling repeatedly the words they say at something like a gas station, haha.
二宮： It’s really a tune with a high spirit!
松本： At a live show we are going to sing it in the first half!
二宮： Ohno-san, you want to do a choreography, right？
櫻井： We will have no other choice than to do a choreography right?
相葉： All right!! Yes, It’s OK! (repeatedly doing the movements a clerk at a gas station would do)
二宮： I would like to pay with cash! (he’s doing a little play in a high spirit)
大野： …So we are going to use some easy hand movements, haha.
松本： There is one more. Full of love, a song with a nice and mellow feeling, ne.
櫻井： It’s like western music! It’s stylish!
松本： Both the songs at the A-side of this single are kind of heavy, and that’s why these coupling songs make the balans good, right.
