I wish I had a fire escape.
so I can crawl out the window at night, and sit and reflect on whats happened that day.
durring the summer I would put up a hamock and sleep outside.
On new years I would hang out there with 1 or 2 of my closes friends, and wed talk about how horrible, angry, silly, amazing, beautiful the previous year was and how different our lives would be without them in it.
On the first snow I would have a place to dance outside in my pajamas and slippers.
I would have a place to do my art and admire the beauty of the city, even if people do think the city is dirty, it would
be my home, and id love it no matter what.
its amazing to me how intimate a safety precaution can be.
the name suits it though, "fire escape" a place to escape from your personal hell.
A place to break from the ugly, and appreciate what means the most to you.
If only we could all have a fire escape. we would be alot happier I think.
