Hmm, this town seems to enjoy bringing people back from the dead. I would like to assume this is a type of afterlife but I've been informed not everyone here has died previously.

It would be an unfortunate afterlife. It would also not make much sense. I do not understand why one would require to change our physicality just because we have moved on from the living realm.

So you were previously dead before arrival?

Well this place has residents from many different worlds, this appearance would be more universalizing, it could help one fit in before they get their original appearance back. But this body is very weak and has little to none advantages during strife. It's rather inconvenient.

Yes, I was killed some time ago.

I suppose the race we are meant to look like are not those that have much more peaceful living conditions.

I can not tell though. The accommodations are much too foreign for me.

While I wouldn't compare the conditions to those on Alternia, I wouldn't say that humans here are more or less peaceful. The town is peaceful for a while but then thrown into chaos before reverting back to it's peaceful state.

It seems to be merely another attribute to this place. If it were to change our race but still offer our original attributes back, it is easy to guess that it would also put us through turmoil before reverting back to its status quo.
