I got suspended from my job and it's probably for a week
OMG OMG OMG! I just got suspended from my job! It's freakin' crazy. Alright, for club soccer season I had to call in like 4 or 5 times because we had games on Sundays that weren't scheduled and I was only off on Saturdays. On top of that we had unscheduled tournament days and I'm the only goalie so I couldn't let my team down. It really sucks that they didn't appreciate when I called in and didn't understand that when I said I was going to get in trouble for doing it I was serious. I mean, it's not like I had a choice. We were number one out of every team and won the championship. Without a goalie that kind of wouldn't have happened. I just wish they would have appreciated it a little more. But that's too late now.
I also had days where I had real migraines and couldn't go in. Yesterday was one of those days and I woke up late since I took the medication that is prescibed to me that makes me kinda sleepy. Well, I slept later than my shift, so I couldn't call in. Which makes that a no call, no show. So, today I get called down and my bitchy boss tells me that I'm suspended. A rep. from HR will call me in a few days and schedule a meeting with me and my supervisor and then I have to explain what happened. Hopefully they'll understand the whole migraine thing...I mean I had a tumor for crying out loud and a hole in my head that causes horrible migraines. Just wish me luck guys because I really need this to work out! This is the first time I think I'm going to say this, but I'm going to be missing work. How pathetic.
