nice weekend
right up till Sunday afternoon. Bleh, silly jtaf
Then I went home and decided to stop by and visit my friend Natasha, whom I've not seen in a while - only to find out she's been dead for a few months. I guess that's why I've not heard from her. Feeling rather bleh and unhappy about various related issued, I decided to head home and celebrate her 21st birthday (Sept. 6) by consuming my finest bottle of wine and part of my finest bottle of scotch. Drunkeness did not ensue, however dehydration and a long Monday morning did make themselves available for my pleasure.
I've got a few pictures of the JTAF anime cosplay event I'll probably post as soon as I get around to resizing them. The neverending house cleaning is starting to bother me. I've got to fix that (the cleaning, not the bothering) before I do something rash.
My bug bombs seemed to have worked - I've not been bit since Friday, and the only ants I'm finding are all dead. Double goodness. Next on my list, clean the car and take some more computers to the datacenter for general terminal serving use. Also, sell two rackmounts for extra money.
I've got to get a new cell phone. Once I get around to finding a landline, I'll call Sprint and demand free services. Wish me luck!
I missed the Farr 40s World Championships and am missing the StFYC Big Boat Series - double shucks, but maybe I'll go take pictures next weekend; I'd rather go for a drive somewhere - maybe up the coast, or inland, depending on the weather.
People confuse me. They should stop that.
