Well, feeling a bit of anxiety lately. Basically I have less than four weeks to get a second job, or my 'net access somehow gets cut down to an hour a day.
Was going to ask my boss today if it was ok for me to apply over at our cedar hills location, and if he'd let me use him as a reference, but he's still on vacation untill this Monday.
Left work around 15 minutes early, bought a kilo of b.c. blueberries (yay! They're the best... AND I can eat mini-wheats without gagging now). And...shock, easily caught the bus. So I was actually home at eight-thirty instead of ten.
Funny incident with the bus driver...
See, we were at a stop and these two kids walked right out in front of him. The bus driver shouted at them, and one stepped back instinctively, but the other mouthed off to him. The bus driver tried to tell the kid, hey, be more careful or you'll get run over, but the kid has a really shitty attitude.
Anyway some ladies on the bus knew this kid, and after he started swearing at the bus driver, the bus driver asked his name. The ladies told him it was Nick. So the bus driver calls over
"NICK! NICK!" and hilarity ensued as the kid freaked the fuck out. It was awesome.
Apparently at one point the kid called the bus driver bitch.
So I said, "I would've said, 'No, YOUR mother!'. Anyway it was pretty funny,
but also depressing, because as the kid jay-walked across the street mouthing off to the bus driver, he totally didn't look behind him or check the road at all...
On the bright side, I have the house to myself again for around four weeks. My mom's going to be in Newfoundland for a month and my dad is coming back near the first week of August.
Oh yeah, and fuckface is gone!! Gone!!! He lingered like a bad fart, but after tomorrow he will finally be dispelled!!
(he left earlier in the week, but he has to come back tomorrow to pick up some stuff).
And my aunt Helen was 'round yesterday, I got off lucky and got to sleep through the whole thing (BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!) and she returned the anime I lent my cousin James.

Also, there's a tentative drunking writing party in the works for next Thursday (SCORE!!).
Your favourite co-authours and mine, Dane Mike and Bill are going to be there, and we're maybe going to take a break from our original project (as if like six months wasn't long enoughO_o) and work on Mike's story. Yo, Alex (bobjob)! If you wanna participate, you can come! Hell even if you just want to drink my booze and make fun of us, that's cool too!

In other news, and coming as a surprise to none, my best friend is a frightful pervert.
In exchange for beating Super Castlevania IV levels while my rusty self was sleep-deprived, he made me strip, and INSISTED I fight Dracula naked. Would've been funnier if I wasn't so tired.
Speaking of casual nudity, CURSE YOU WEATHER! It hasn't been above 25^oC , so it's been too damn cold to go to wreck beach. Looking at the forecast however, it's gonna get up to 24^oC by Tuesday, so maybe I'll be in luck by next weekend.
I miss the place a lot. Horribly ugly naked people aside, it's a truly beautiful place, and my favourite thing is to go swimming while the sunsets. It's freakin' surreal. Hnn...maybe hyper-real would be a better word...dunno.
Anyway I read Psychomech, but the writing style is kind of clunky and old-school, so it's not easy to get into. I really need to read the other two books in the trilogy and probably return it to the library post-haste, but I just can't seem to crack 'em open.
In E-bay news, since I have a bit of cash to throw around at the moment, I bought Castlevania Chronicles WITH the soundtrack (YAY!!!) and the a.d. police files 2004 dvd. REALLY REALLY looking forward to both. Hopefully I can finally get paypal set up with my bank tomorrow so I won't be gyped twelve bucks mailing money orders.
