College kids are dumb too

Here is the email I sent to everyone in my psych stats class. This is in response to the enormous amount of emails they send to everyone in the class about the same exact thing. I wish I could have been a little more harsh but I had to be somewhat civil.

Being that we are all college students, I was under the impression that we all understood the concept of redundancy. When someone recieves five to ten different emails about the same exact thing, that is not only redundant, but extremely annoying when the answer has usually either been answered before, or is in the SFS handbook.

Please, from now on, check your own email to see if someone has already asked a question concerning what you wanted to inquire about. If there has already been an email sent out, ask that original sender for the information. Considering they most likely found it somewhere else, be it by another student or by reading the SFS handbook, which might I add, can answer most questions about "what is this week's homework".

Be judicious when using this system of communication and don't abuse it by sending emails you might have thought were humorous and you just *had* to share with everyone else. We really don't care, we're just here to learn. If you want to send "funny" emails to people, send them to your friends because most of us aren't interested in being bothered by that kind of stuff.
