Emergency Update
:::AAAYYYYOOOOOOOO...A lot has happened since the lass time I updated believe it or not...Bush has been re-elected and I have decided not to comment on the situation but only to let him serve his role...We'll see how that proceeds...Anyways folks, 2night KRS-One, yes the LEGENDARY HIP-HOP artist, mc, and revolutionary spoke in the Student Union at our campus. Unfortunately I was unable to attend the first hour, but I got in an hour n a half of his speech, an when he was thru he signed my art work that I had with me cause I didn't have anything else for him to sign - "This is dope fo real - KRS-One"...But don't even worrrrry bout it, it was str8 n he was cool folks...One of the realest people I have ever met in my life, which took away the star struck effect when I walked in during his speech...However, dude was a political phenomenon, he spoke the truth about real matters, about the reality of Hip-Hop n its culture...About how there will eventually be degrees in Hip-Hop for emceeing, turn-tablism, for breaking, and even graf...May not be anytime while I'm at CSUF and we may laugh now, but every idea starts with a laugh...There are people who are willing to pursue this idea, myself to a certain extent...KRS touched base upon how he has lost realization of color n ethnicity, about how Hip-Hop is not juss somethin you do, it's somethin you live...N I've hurrd that before from him, but to hear it from his voice juss made it more effective...Now I'm not tryna say I don't lissen to modern Hip-Hop, don't watch BET or MTV, but I will say I bought Mos Def's album, Talib Kweli's album, KRS's album, befoooorrree I bought any other artists...N I'm not tryna prove anything but the truth of myself, so say whatchu want...Mos definitely an inspiration to me, hopefully I can see one of his shows...I'm out for now thass enuff...til nexx time...same bat time same bat channel...Gone:::

The soul must exist in order for us to hear that inner voice. I want you to do this again with me to prove it even further."
