James McCullen XXIII looked...just plain weird without his mask. Billy accepted that he just wouldn't be getting used to seeing Destro not looking like Destro.

James could guess what was going through Billy's mind. "It took some getting used to for me as well." he said. "I'm sure this is better for my skin."

Billy smirked, and sat down opposite his old frenemy. "I'm sure. How they treating you?"

"As well as can be expected. Better than if I hadn't turned myself in or helped defeat your father, no doubt. And you? How do your studies progress?"

"Really well. I don't know if you heard about that city we found off the coast of Egypt..."

Now it was James' turn to smirk. "'We', you say. How modest. From what I have heard it was you who made the discovery."

"Well I guess I was the first to spot the first relic." Billy admitted. It still gave him a wonderful thrill to think of it. They spoke of school and Billy's family for a bit, then a guard came in with a package.

"What's this?" James asked.

"A care package from...dunno who. It was anonymously delivered to my house." That was his story and he was sticking to it. It had in fact been handed to him personally by the Baroness and it contained a wealth of photos and a long letter.

"I hear your son's growing like a weed and smarter than the average bear." Billy said. "No first hand knowledge of that myself."

"Of course not." There may have been warmer smirks in the world, but not many.

"I have something for you as well."

That took Billy by surprise. "You do?"

"I've undertaken a research project. I would have had the results sooner," he said, as a guard set a small file box down in front of Billy. "But I have to clear everything through various agencies who cannot quite be convinced I'd look into anything that doesn't involve escape, or world domination."

Billy opened the box and glanced at the contents. Top-most, was a folder with a name he didn't recognize at first. Then he realized that the surname was familiar after all. It was his father's. Then the first name must be...

"Oh, my God." Billy said softly. "My uncle?"

"Everything I could find." James said. "I think perhaps I've solved a mystery that has occasionally nagged at me through the years. That being why you are so different from your father."
