A la maison

Well it's spring break finally, though it's felt like it for a few weeks already, so it's nice that it's finally here. I'll be home for the majority of the week, but dropping down to Purdue to see Nic for Monday night :) It's nice to be home, though i still have a bunch to do this week, so it won't be a complete week of nothing.  Model UN stuff is sure to occupy a lot of time, that and my French thesis, ah the joys of the English at the end of the 16th century (MUN) and the power of Charles de Gaulle to reform French national identity (French thesis.)  Add in a dash of philosophy and a hint of an English play for class and you've got a nice mix of work to do.  I did drop by the library and pick up a few books to read for fun, though sadly not on a beach this time, so hopefully i'll get through those.  We've gone with Digital Fortress, the last of Dan Brown's that I have yet to read; Animal Farm and 1984 by George Orwell because I've never read anything by him and that just seems wierd; and the Lake House by James Patterson to continue with my readings of his work.  Plus I have some older works up on my shelves that I haven't gone through in a while, so if I finish those off maybe I'll dip back into something by a Bronte or Dickens, or get really old school and grab some Homer...I love my book shelf, it must consider itself schizophrenic because of its complete chaos of genres and time periods that are thrown together, hehehe :)  On that note I'm gonna go read some more before bed!  And remember, don't be strangers, so drop me a line if you're in the Geneva area!
