Here's Something You Never See.
An update from me!
Nothing much tho...just subbing for people and making terrible money for doing so. But, gaining experience in the classroom is always a good thing. I have been a little discouraged at times...thinking, "wow..I went to school for 6 years to get a 4 year degree in Music Education, and this is all I have to show for it..", but God has his plans working so I'm not going to worry about it. A job will come for me, and hopefully sooner than later. In the meantime, my funny goal during all of this is to sub in EVERY SUBJECT possible. Right now the list I have subbed for is as follows:
7th Grade Math
9th Grade Technology
12th Grade Technology
11th Grade English
Band
6th Grade Social Studies
5th Grade Gym
5th Grade Keyboarding
I have a few tons more classes to go :)
Anyway, I've rediscovered that I really, really like to play trumpet, thanks to playing in the Jazz Musical at Milligan. My ultimate goal out of all of this is to go back to school and get my Masters in Music Theory/Aural Skill/Composition area if you didn't know. Then, become DR. BAILEY!!!! in the same area and teach at the College level. The trumpet will always be there to make me extra money, give me side projects (such as the video game quintet or band of some sort that I want to get together), and just provide fun in general.
Other than that, when I don't sub, I relax and take advantage of it. Dragon Warrior 7 is long. So long you don't know if it will ever end. Right now I'm at 70 hours and counting. I think I might be halfway through the game, but I'm not sure. When money becomes good (or when I sell some MTG cards on Ebay), I will get FF12.
Now for the fun part!
John - We should play video games this weekend. Again.
Darryl - You should let me know when you want to come down. And it should be this weekend.
Wayne - We need a woman.
Rar - I think the new WWE game is out now :)
Q, David - There is a 8 movie horrorfest of some sort coming out in theatres this weekend.
Q, Katie - This makes 2 Q's! Hope your doing alright :)
Dutch - We don't see you anymore again. FIX THIS!
Susan - We can buy Dr. Enuf in stores and you can't :) Look forward to seeing you during Christmas.
Jerimiah - A girl came to Laura/Rar's Halloween party dressed as Sonic the Hedgehog. I thought, JERIMIAH'S HERE!
