Oh baby, did you teach me manners? It seems I learned all about what’s proper and improper in etiquette amidst all the lessons of life you sought to impart. Whether it be the impropriety of asking change in order to give a tip or otherwise, you always chastised me for my rudeness. Oh honey, I wish you had learned as much from me as I from you. While I may not have known that society dictates the presence of a napkin in my lap while dining, I knew how to properly treat people, especially those I loved the most. When it came to you, it was always my sacrifice, my will bending to fit yours, because I felt the sacrifice was worth it given your worth to me. You may have known etiquette, sir, but you never did learn your manners. You’re a disgrace to your family, mankind, but yourself most especially. The man that exists today is a disgrace to the man you were before.
