I've already posted about the concert on my myspace, but what the heck, I'll post about it here too. It was great.
Okay, I'm lazy so I'm just going to copy and paste from my blog. What's the point, I know.
Kackie and I went to a Death Cab for Cutie concert last night (the concert was on Nov. 16th) at the BJCC. The opening band was okay. I think they were called The Pharmacists or something similar. The lead singer could play the guitar really well, but it's nothing I'd ever necessarily care to listen to again.
The only Death Cab album I've ever listened to is "Plans," and I was glad that they ended up playing six songs off that album alone. The lead singer was really energetic and talented. He was dancing around the whole time he was singing. He was playing these little drum things while he was singing and playing the guitar. During the end of the show, they brought out an extra drum set, and the drummer and the lead singer played guitar while the bassist played. It was pretty awesome. After the "last song," the crowd kept cheering and yelling (the crowd got much, much louder than the music ever did) and finally, the band came back out and played three more songs. I had a lot of fun. That was the first concert I've been to in probably four years.
/end/
Other than that, Kackie and I put up our Christmas tree the day before Thanksgiving and it looks pretty.
Bye.
