Amie came home today. (I think I've decided on Amie). She was a little nervous about loading but her girlfriends were also screaming at her and it was super windy. All in all, she was a very good girl. She is a little pushy, but she was happy once she got out of the trailer and MUCH less pushy. Not much to say besides I am THRILLED and EXHAUSTED. She is way bigger than I remembered. The horse sized halter I got her did not fit her very well, apparently she needs an XL. I need to purchase a girth tomorrow... my 48" will NOT fit her. I'm thinking I need more like a 52" or even 54"... she is HUGE. Pix now? Mmkay.

Ohh, and I found a HORSE sized bridle. Yay. It had a knot in the nose band but I undid it... looks okay, a little sloppy but it will do for now. The first thing to the new BO said to me (jokingly) is "Why is she so skinny?" because she is a TUBBY. Apparently her two year old is looking to be very promising and if she does well on the track I may have someone knocking on my door to buy her for more than I paid for her. Wouldn't that be crazy.
