Today I woke up to go to work [at 7:00] at 5:30. I went into the kitchen and Layni was laying around looking at me as I was sitting in the kitchen petting Mika. I picked Layni out her bed and set her on the floor and she couldn't lift her head. I brought her into the bedroom and she peed on the ed and still couldn't stand up. Obviously, Ryan and I were both terrifieid. We took Layni to the 24 hour VCA on Montgomery but they wouldn't see her because emergency services were only for existing clients, fucked up, right? We the took her to the emergency clinic that my work uses but the told us that she looked okay enough to wait for our regular vet to open in two and a half hours. [She had improved a bit at this point and coult sit up, however, she was still shaky.] We both called into work. I gave Layni some nutrical and sugar water with an eye dropper and we took her to Banfield when it opened. Se had already improved conisderably which basically confirmed my fear of hypoglycemia. They did a glucose test which came back saying that her blood sugar was normal. But it was just normal after lots of sugar water and nutrical. So, yeah. She was hypoglycemic this morning. She is okay now. She may of very well had a seizure too seeing as how Ryan heard her yelp. :( Luckily she is okay, but I am nearly having to force feed her. :X
