new store manager =( ....... maybe a new apartment =) ...... maybe some cats =D
we're getting a new store manager.. A woman named Kim. She was there during the conversion... She seemed kinda nice.. Kinda stuck up and like she could care less, but i must not judge until i actually meet her. I just know she could give a shit about me when i was there ya know? But it really sux cuz me and aristotle had things going.. I mean he knew about my availability, he knew about my situations.. he knows im the secondary project queen. He knows i work on the prp's... He knows i do dvd repricing. He knows im next in line for manager. He knows all that and hes leaving. ITs like i have to start alllllll over again. I will never be damn manager and now that this woman is coming... things are really going to suck as shes going to want to do things her way and she is going to think im some newbie csr as opposed to someone who has worked for the company a while. Aristotle said before he left that me and Kelly are the best CSR's.. That would usually make me smile but everyone else on the staff are newbies so nevermind. Next week is Davids last week and i think he found someone from another store to cover his manager position.. yay more people from other stores.. damn, this isn't even the same store i started working at. Since i started working at blockbuster a little over a year ago.. i have had SOOO MANY coworkers and soooooo many store managers.. and with each store manager comes great change.. but it will still be good if you have mod's on your side.. bUT I DONT! Dyllan and Michelle are not on my side.. David was but he is leaving.. Its so hopeless, and i hope i dont get fired cuz noone likes me!
on another note.. we are thinking about moving again... WE found a nice apartments right down the road, a little closer to the bay and beach. ITs huge like 3 blocks long. It has its own basketball court, tennis court, fitness center, olympic size pool, etc. but thats not why we want to move cuz living here aint too bad.. (and our cathedral ceiling is BEAUTIFUL) The reason why we want to move is that we think its time that we have cats. And our aparmtnets now do no allow pets. So this apartments only have a $300 deposit... And then if we have cats its another $300 deposit.. So thats only a one time refundable fee of $600 and first month rent of course. And you dont have to pay additional rent for the cats.. just the $300 deposit.. And you can have up to two cats.. and there are no dogs allowed which is cool. Rent is only $100 more than we pay now, but its 100 more square feet of an apartment, which means its a pretty big studio... give our kitties more room. And i can afford $50 more a month if kevin can... That would make me pay $200 a month and kevin $250... But this would require that kevin and i really need to make this work cuz i am not going to do a whole cat custody thing ya know? It wont happen just yet as we would still need to put in a 30 day notice here, pack stuff up, and wait for my financial aid to pay deposits and all. but it could happen by the end of september! Our lease ends this month at these apartments so maybe we will pass the credit check on our own. Maybe we can put Dana as a reference so she can say what good tennants we were and how we were always early on our rent. Maybe.. but maybe not so dont get your hopes up. But it would be cool and its only about 5-6 blocks away and its in walking distance of sea world (on the same street as sea world) and walking distance to the beach. Its on ingraham and ingraham is the road that goes through the bay, separating the bay into two sections. it heads to sea world and sports arena. We wont be able to see sea world or water from our apartment, we wont be able to see fireworks, we wont have all that, but we weren't really taking advantage of that in the first place... so to me its not a big deal, we can always walk down the street to see it all! or if we get top floor maybe we can see it from there! i dunno but i really want cats.. We are going to take in Irie, kevin's sister's cat who is completely neglected and we are looking to adopt her a friend. I want a calico but whatever works works! We are looking for a young adult. We would get a kitty but we dont want Irie to rough it up so we will get one a little older but not too old it wont play anymore, like a year or so.. Sounds like soooo much fun and i cannot wait!
