Last night went swimmingly, for want of a phrase! I was rather nervous about going, to be honest, as despite how readily I'll disrobe at home or on the beach, alone or with friends, I'm still very self conscious about how I look and thus am immensely insecure with strangers. The swim with Reading Naturist Group, however, swept all those worries aside, as they're a friendly bunch of people who just like to swim au naturel, with no reservations or judgment. I wasn't the only first timer there either, there was another chap who was experiencing his first naturist swim with others, so I felt a bit more at ease.
I must have done a good 16 lengths of the pool by the end of the evening, with several stops to catch my breath and have a chat with folks resting at the side of the pool. Conversations ranged from things like laser eye surgery, games consoles and workplaces, to body piercing and custom cars, hot rods and dragsters. All in all it was a great social experience, something that makes me feel a little less alone during the week when Utlah and I are stuck 120 miles apart.
I'm going to try my best and make it a weekly thing, as not only do I enjoy swimming nude immensely, it'll help with my asthma and fitness too, so pros all around :)
