For the memory of my grandfather, who is living, yet is no more, please register your support for stem cell research at ActForChange.com. I don't hold out a lot of hope for my grandfather, but perhaps others stricken with Alzheimer's -- or those who will in the future -- may benefit from this legislation passing.
I simply don't understand the logic of sacrificing the possible well-being of MILLIONS of people for embryos that would be otherwise discarded. Maybe it is the purpose of those embryos to function as vectors for a better quality of life for the millions of people who suffer from debilitating illness.
