{Third Miracle} [video]
[The feed opens with a rather unusual sight: there's a Kyuubey and a Viktor, and they're both sitting on an old couch. But that's hardly the strangest part of the deal.]
I never knew this was enjoyable for the person on the giving end of petting, as you call it! [Kyuubey tilts his head up just a little so he could get a better glance at Viktor, comfortably nestled on his lap.] Does that have to do with being "fluffy"?
Ah- um yes. [ Viktor smiles, tilting his head as he continues to pet Kyuubey's soft, soft head. ] Most people like touching soft and fluffy things... so this feels nice to me too.
I don't think I get it! It seems like the effort you employ exceeds whatever satisfaction you get in return for it. Then again, I have only ever been on the receiving end of the exchange, so I can't really tell for sure!
Heheh...um... I don't think it's too much- I mean. You're really soft, a-and it's not hard to pet you.
Considering how often that happens, I'd say that is pretty accurate, by human perception standards. Still-- [He looks up again, with those captivating eyes you cannot deny.] I might be able to draw my own conclusions, if we switch places.
Switch? But, er... I'm kind of big...
That's no problem! [And so Kyuubey proceeds to getting up and climbing all the way to Viktor's shoulders, stationing himself there and pressing a paw against the boy's cheeks. Next, he begins to rub skin in what can only be described as a very awkward petting session, though he seems to be analyzing every bit of it.] Hmm...
Mhh- [ Viktor can only blink curiously, his smooshed cheek looking pretty comical as Kyuubey tries to pet him. for a guys skin, it's pretty soft...er, for skin. it was nothing compared to fluffy fur. ]
A somewhat slippery surface with considerable elasticity, I see. But it's nothing like our own! [Which means he might have to try something different, so. He'll be climbing up to Viktor's head now, repeating the previous process of touching his hair and studying the results. Meanwhile, Viktor's cheeks flush pink a bit and he gives his awkward, dorky grin. his hair is also pretty soft for a guys- but it's more of a light kind of soft than fluffy fur. (He uses herbal essences.) ] Hmm... It's a pretty soft texture, but not particularly pleasing. [Another head tilt and Kyuubey catches that blush, a known sign of contentment.] And once again, it is fairly obvious you enjoy it much more than I do! [Even so, he's still petting it.]
M-Maybe petting things just isn't for you... [ a-a nervous chuckle. ]
My, my... [A sigh.] I really never will understand humans!
