Car goes crunch.
Right to the point, some of you may be aware that my sister was involved in a car accident this afternoon. I'm glad to say that she's ok, but she'll be quite sore in the morning. For now the only apparent irritation is the burns on her arms from the air bag. So what happend you may be asking. She was approaching an intersection with a green light when a car turning left from oncoming traffic turned in front of her. Unfortunately, the idiot behind that car decided to go to as well instead of taking the time to ensure there was enough room to get by. There wasn't. Amy plowed almost directly into the side of his nice little white mustang. I feel bad for the mustang (love the look of 'em) but not for the idiot behind the wheel. Of course he tried to explain to the police that it was Amy's fault as she had clearly hit him, but the police weren't buying it. She had the right-of-way and he gave her no other choice but to hit him. So yay! No ticket for Amy, but no car either.
