(no subject)
well...it's been hot...REALLY HOT!!...we just went through our 10th day of 100+ temps...that's a record...previously we've hit 9 straight days like 4 times in the past 100 years...so yeah...it's been crazy...and we've got like a couple more days of 100+ temps...maybe more...
in other news, just recently watched shortie (a local band from sacramento who's been around for about 8 years) do their final show...about 3 days before i told miss helen about it cause she also likes shortie and yeah we went...cause well it was shortie's last show...and we weren't gonna miss it...it was just awesome...really sad too...they've been a big part of the sacramento music scene...let me tell you one thing...the boardwalk, after it's been 100+ degrees, it's not very fun..hahaha...i pretty much stayed under one of the ceiling fans cause that place has no AC...but yeah...it was still most awesome...
my guitar playing skills are improving...it's making me very happy...haha...but yeah...recently i've been able to finally do some techniques that i've been trying to get down for a long time...and it's increasing my drive to become a better musician...woooo...
my room is looking even more cool...hahahaha...i helped my brother move some stuff of his into my storage the other day and because i had someone there with a vehicle, i was able to pull some stuff out...like my shelf...and some more japanese stuff that i have...AND!!!!...well first off...until the past couple years, i didn't were XL shirts...the last time i wore them was way back in 7th grade...and around that time, one of the last XL shirts i got was this original series star trek shirt...so when i started feeling uncomfortable wearing them, i just put it away and saved it cause it was cool and if i wasn't able to wear it, i could hang it up or something...well...the other day when i helped my brother get some stuff into my storage, i found it again...and i forgot it was XL...so when i looked, i got all excited and took it with me...hahahaha...so yeah...now i have a star trek shirt that fits and stuff...WOOOOO!!!!!!...*super dorky powers*
i need new icons...i think i'll have miss helen make me some super awesome icons...
