so i went to the dropkick murphys show last night in san francisco....it was pretty coool...i've never been to the warfield...
we also road BART...it's been like 15 years since i road that thing...i also got the chance to get on in one of the underground stations...it felt like i was in a move...haha ^_^...it was so awesome...we went to a few places too...and it was just fun...i can't wait to see senses fail in a few weeks at slims...that should be really fun too
during the dropkick's set,they brought up a good point last night...even though bush may suck, doesn't mean you shouldn't support the troops...and they told the story about a soldier over there who had died and wanted the song 'Fields Of Athenry' by them played at his funeral and so they did a different version than the one on their Black Out CD (if you don't know the song, check out their original version here)...they put one copy of it in the casket...gave one to his mother...and gave a third to his wife...you can read more here and, if you want, you can also donate!...it was really touching...i almost started to cry...but yeah i thought i'd post about it and let people know about it then play it here at home...for all those who have lost their lives so far...so here's to you guys...rest in peace and rock on...
