The Best Jrock Breakdowns!
So, I've been wanting to make this post for forever, but leave it to me to underestimate the amount of time and effort a project like this takes (see also Alice Nine Valetines XDD). I listen to pretty much all jrock while driving around, and I like to drive. Since my FM transmitter broke and my parents got me a new one...that is not so great >___<...I basically burn all of my music onto CDs...old school I know. But anyway, there are just moments when I want to headbang like crazy and I think, "wow this is amazing". I decided to compile all of those moments. Please keep in mind that I do not own all jrock songs, therefore my selection of "best of" is limited to what I have heard only. And, since my computer is lacking I haven't made it through my whole collection and will have to make a follow up post. I just wanted to go ahead and make the initial post anyway (since it's my day off and I have some time finally). Also, this is based on my own definition of a breakdown. There is a technical definition based on the music's form and structure, but I'm sure my definition is pretty close to yalls, and this is just for fun anyway so don't stone me and say THAT'S NOT A REAL BREAKDOWN (not that yall would). Perhaps it would be more accurate to call them the moments that make me go nuts...but that doesn't sound cool. I couldn't think of any other way to do this, so I'm including videos from YT and the time at which the "breakdown aka awesome part" occurs. Enjoy! Feel free to add suggestions as I don't know a lot of music, but keep in mind I have more on my list and more importantly, THIS DOES NOT INCLUDE ANY ALICE NINE FOR THE TIME BEING. I'm doing them separate (he he he doing them) and of course I'm lacking bands like Dir en grey. And none of them included guitar solos...this sounds so much more formal than I planned WTH! anyway, here we go! These are my favorite breakdowns.
