Jrockers are awesome

Jan 28, 2010 01:51

Ok I've been putting off this update for too long. I originally set a bedtime of 1am for myself tonight, but I'm pushing it back to 1:30am and pushing my watching of Kra's PSC 10th performance back to tomorrow before work. I told myself I'd actually watch it and here I am, not watching. ANYWAY!

First, someone posted a clip of Hizaki and Kamijo from Versailles on Beat Shuffle. This freakin' cracked me up. There's just something about jrockers and coloring/drawing. Fully grown men with markers! Geez. It's brilliant. I was actually able to pick out some of their comments while they drew. They starting picking markers: hizaki got red/pink and Kamijo picked purple. Kamijo's picture is soooo strange. I couldn't even make out what it was. He kept saying "murasaki" (purple) but I couldn't get the rest...It really looked like a messed up upper lip to me XDDD but then he yells "shima da!" At first I thought he said "shimatta" (sp) which is like "shit" right? So I thought he messed up. But really he said "shima da", "an island"  so it makes me wonder if HE even knew what he was drawing at first. Hizaki was saying it was " mendokuse" (troublesome) and Kamijo says "do your best!" HAHAHAHA He mumbles "umi wa kirei" (the sea is beautiful) and adds waves and birds XDDD He's cutting his out and starts punching holes in it saying "okashii okashii" (funny) and I have no idea what the holes are for...Anyway, Hizaki makes a giant red H for hizaki and he keeps saying "eechi" I guess the way Japanese sound out the letter H but I thought he was saying "etchi" (pervert) XDD About halfway through I burst out laughing. Like literally, full blown LAUGHING in my room as I watch these guys coloring. OMG soooo hilarious. Lord, how am I ever going to understand alice nine when I meet them if I keep mistaking words like etchi and shimatta?!?! It's not looking good here....oh well. The clip was super entertaining ^____^

For Valentine's, I've been trying to get these cards together to send off to the guys. It's been much more difficult and time-consuming than I thought (damn you Saga for being so mysterious and hard to read/impress). But through the difficulty, I've been able to hang out with 2 lovely ladies. I've been over to hibari_sensei's place twice now to work on the project and I've had a fun time :) I think we get along well and we have a lot in common. I really appreciate that she is willing to invite me over and give us a place to work on this project for them! She also made some yummy dumplings last time ^^ I look forward to seeing her again and hanging out more <3 We always crack up about these boys and share funny fangirling stories XDD Last weekend, I went to Austin to meet up with yuukichan84 to work on the project with her as well. I had a ton of fun! Our room was nice and discounted! WOOT! haha the beds were so freaking amazing :) But yah, we got some yummy food and bought more crafting supplies. Unfortunately, we didn't get as far along on the projects as I would have liked, but damn, it was nice to watch all those DVDs and go to 6th street. I actually wasn't sure if I was in the mood for 6th but it ended up going well. We met her nice friends and I had a little more to drink than I planned. I was only going to have like 1 beer, but then I remembered I wasn't driving so I said screw it :) A strange thing happened though while we were there. It wasn't all that sudden but somehow the extremely crowded area near the bar, and directly to my left began clearing out. It wasn't closing time so it was strange but then I saw tons of red on the floor. Immediately it seemed like alcohol, naturally. But it was too bright. Seemingly as soon as I realized it was blood covering the floor, the bartenders and other clean up people were there with mops and paper towels. That's a scary thing, to have such a sensitive fluid near so many people. Blood is such an interesting, intimate thing...I know I was freaking when that damn kid threw up in my store. It's a little different, because vomit is just disgusting, but it IS a bodily fluid and must be removed immediately! Besides the fact that there was a large amount of blood on the floor, it was so surreal, seeing a floor full of blood while people danced unknowingly around it. It was just a really strange image that will stick with me for a while. Well, anyway, the dizzy rooster was spot on that night with what we were looking for, so I'm glad I was able to pick a winner when I directed us to that bar (although we did some trial and error first XDD). Afterwards, the pizza hit the spot AS USUAL and yuukichan falling over was scary but funny as hell. SORRY I LAUGHED YUUKICHAN!! It sucks that she got some scratches/bruises, but it was a bit of a fall. Although we had that minor incident, we made it back to the hotel safely. Oh yah, and I remember talking to some guys on the way...I think it was suggested that I should have said "You don't appear asian so I'm not interested!" XDDD I don't remember what I actually said to them, but I don't think it was very nice. I just get irritated with guys and their last minute attempts to pick something up. At the hotel room, I decided it would be even BETTER to watch alice nine tipsy. This made me think I could headbang really well. So I actually stood up and hunched over to roll my head hardcore to Kowloon. It was fun but about a day and 1/2 later my neck was killing me XDD now I know before I go to one of their lives I need to stretch that out and practice -______- but that was fun, and my love, or lust rather, for Shou was X 1000000000. So amazing :)  Other than the RUDE valet dude, leaving my phone charger, and lack of progress on our main objective, it was a really great time <3 Yuukichan, we will definitely have to do it again! And maybe we can find a way for mandramoddle to join us!

Today I worked at the fitch and my hair still smells like Fierce. Ugh. It's way too strong. But I filled my ass off and hopefully Amy will be impressed with my standard. I think it might look better than it normally does. I think today we actually had some decent shoppers. Not the kind that wreck the WHOLE store then buy one clearance shirt. So closing wasn't too hard. I think we are about to get our asses kicked by recruiting though. SOOO looking forward to that! -____________- fuck that.

Side note: miyavi is such a weirdo. a talented weirdo.

Before I went to austin, I stopped by the post office and got my GOODS from cdjapan! I couldn't wait to open the packages so I did it in the car! I am finally the proud owner of Discotheque, Peace and Smile Carnival 2009, and Jubilee! I've decided that whatever money I don't spend on alice nine will always go to Versailles. They are so amazingly talented. I mean, your bassists dies and yet, you are still able to put out an amazing album months later? Hizaki really stepped up to record the rest of the bass tracks. Also, if it weren't for Versailles, I probably wouldn't have found alice nine. So Versailles has all my love, or...whatever love is left over from alice nine (like that's any at all). Anyway, speaking of jrock and versailles, I wanted to share a song. The bassist from Matenrou Opera filled in for Jasmine at V-Rock Fest this past year, so after a couple of months I decided to look them up. I only downloaded one album of theirs, GILIA, but it's pretty good stuff. I really really like this song!

And here is a video so you can actually see them :) This is not from GILIA so I haven't really listened to it much, but I was shocked by the video. It is seriously a combination of the GazettE's "Before I Decay" PV (with the light bars) and Alice Nine's "Cross Game" PV (in some underground garage looking place). So funny.

Ok, it's past my bedtime now! But I will come back to talk about my lack of passion = my unhappiness and expand upon that. I need to talk it out and hopefully figure some things out and gain motivation in the process. Till then, kiotsukete!!!
