Freshman Year, September…..
It is the first time I confessed my Love…..
And he…..
Turned out to be someone who loathed me…
Junior year of middle school…..
" I …..I like you Siwon, please go out with me!" a shy guy named Ryeowook.
" But I hardly know you….." Siwon said scratching the back of his head.
" we can start getting to know each other today!" Ryeowook said blushing.
" I'll probably never fall in love with you, but if you're fine with that, then I'll go out with you" Siwon said coldly with a smirk on his face.
Back then, I'd yet to find a guy I truly liked.
" can't you pretend you enjoy being with me, at least for today?" " I even got a cake…. Don't make me feel like an idiot by myself" Ryeowook said clutching the cake's bag in the middle of the street.
How annoying…..
" You really can't.…..can't love me? Even for just a little bit?" Ryeowook said " I don't know what you're thinking".
Stop talking…..
" Shut up!" Siwon said then leaned and kissed Ryeowook on the lip's.
Guy's are just, so easy……that's all it takes to tame them
" Ah….sorry!" " sorry! I'm in a hurry!" said a guy's with a small built was trying to pass the people.
I wonder How……. In the middle of the crowd……..I was completely………Mesmerized.
The guy ran throw the crowd then suddenly tripped.
I couldn't believe……I held my hands out to a guy……..of my own initiative.
" whew….that was close" The guy somewhat managed to get a hold of Siwon jacket but the plastic bag he held fell from him " THE CAKE!" when he remembered " the ….cake is……" but the cake was already ruined.
The guy's turned around then loudly started to cry " Oh, God, no! no way!".
Siwon folded his hand then said " More like, could it have already been smashed while you were running at top speed and bumping into everyone along the way?"
The guy turned to look at Siwon with a pout "Really? " and Siwon couldn't help but smile.
This guy……Is so cute!... He's definitely not the type who can lie.
" sorry lend me this!" Siwon said as he grabbed Ryeowook cake from him, then handed it to the guy in front of him " take this".
" eh? But this….." the guy looked at Siwon.
" but Siwon this is our….." Ryeowook said but got cut by Siwon.
" I'll buy another cake for you later" Siwon told Ryeowook then he turned to the guy and said " think of it as my Christmas gift to you, is that okay?".
" thank you so much" the guy wore the most beautiful smile " I'm so happy! Thank you so much! Well, I've got to go, sorry about running into you! And thanks" he nodded then left and despaired into the crowd.
Siwon just stood there without doing any thing just staring at the crowd where the guy left.
" seriously, I had to put in a special order for that cake……are you listening?" Ryeowook said to Siwon who was frozen in his place.
Siwon suddenly started to run leaving Ryeowook behind looking around the crowd.
What was I thinking? Why didn't I ask for his name? or age? Or address? Or phone number? Or school name? Or anything? Why didn't I ask him anything?
That cake…. Who was he going to eat it with?
Back then I didn't know anything about you…….There's no guarantee at all………but I always believed, I would get to see that smile of yours again!........... I've always believed that!
Then I realized……..
At the first day of high school Siwon saw that guy when he tried to get close to him the guy shouted " DON'T" and started to cry.
Then I realized……..I realized that…..the guy I met that day no longer existed……..what in the world had changed him?
I was to find out a little later……
" He hates men?" Kyuhyun said to him " that’s the only explanation for that weird attitude of his, because if you just pass him, he'll glare at you, and his attitude toward you is weird too, what else could it be?"
Since then….. I've tried to talk to him many times…….. but every time, he only showed me an expression of fear……. And his eye's fill with tears, and he gives me the cold shoulder……..but his smile was only……. An arm's length away for his friend………..I want to see it one more time……..I want to you to smile for me……and only for me…..
Siwon saw Yesung which he learned it's the guy name trying to reach for the paper that was on the board but he was short to reach it.
" I can't…...I can't reach"
" Here" Siwon was at his back he grabbed the paper then held it to him " you're not tall, so don't force yourself and….."
yesung shoved Siwon away and said loudly " STAY AWAY!"
Why? Why is this happening what did I say? Why do you always make that face?........even though it's so simple with other guy's…….this isn't turning out the way I want it to…… I can't make you see me……….It's frustrating.
Yesung started to run away but Siwon just smirk and say " you hate men you say?" Yesung turned to Siwon " these day's, are there really still things like that"
It's frustrating…….. so frustrating………. I wanted to hurt him so badly…..
" you pretend to hate men but you're really trying to get their attention, aren't you?" Siwon continued.
" What the heck? Are you kidding me? What do you know? Don't take me for a fool!" yesung shouted to Siwon " you don't know anything! You have no right to say that to me!" then ran away. Siwon stood still and started to laugh.
It's the first time………..It was the first time he locked at me……without looking away……but instead looked directly at me……….Ironically……he totally hates me now …….Even so, I……I couldn't give up because……I've already discovered….. that it's the only way I can talk with him………..every time your expression darkened because of what I said…………I rejoiced over the fact that I got a reaction from you……..you're becoming more real inside me………
He hates it when people talk over his shoulder………So I purposely do that.
Siwon walks to that Yesung, looking over his shoulder " Yesung …….What? your math score is only 52?"
Yesung shudder when he notice Siwon behind him then he quickly hide his paper " Who…..Who says you can look?....next time!...next time I'll get a better score! Just watch me!"
He's a tough guy and a sore loser…………the more he tries to act tough,……the cuter he gets………
And after school ….. he always tries to leave early …aside from me, he's also cold toward some guy's ……….But in front of his friend ……he does laugh a lot…..
Just like that ….I teased him…..like an elementary school kid would do every day……but…….because he always responded……… it made me feel like I was growing closer to him……….and that made me happy….
But at the same time my existence was……..taking over his mind and more……
Siwon stopped walking when he heard two people talking in a near class he moved closer and peaked throw the door….
" I can't stand it anymore ……why……of all things, is he in the same class I'm in?.....why does he talk to me? … I'm scared ….I'm so scared…..I'm scared of Siwon!" Yesung cried out to his best friend Sungmin.
My mind blacked out completely…..it was just my imagination that was growing closer…… my selfish actions…………. Were pushing him to the limit…….
But even so …..what else was I supposed to do……….will he never look at me ever again….. no matter what I do?
After losing my only way of talking to him……. I didn't have a single hope left…….
" I've always been interested in you, Siwon will you go out with me?" a guy said
It doesn't matter anymore……just as he doesn't even remember a thing………I guess I should forget everything too…..
" I don't think I can ever fall in love with you, but if you don't care, then I'll go out with you" Siwon replayed to the guy.
" that's……so cruel…" the guy said
" hold on Yesung"
Siwon turned when he heard the name and saw Yesung walking with his best friend.
" But Sungmin, you're walking so slowly!" Yesung said smiling widely to his friend.
" I know but….."
You're too unfair…….you don't look at me …….but how do you with such a smile……..so easily….. Make my heart yearn for you again?.....
After losing control, I quickly took action…….. I was going to force us both to be festival advisors…….
At the library……. A/N: (a scene from the original story chapter one)
I could sense his nervousness…..but I didn't care……even if you hated me…… it didn't matter…..I fell in love with you …..I would definitely make you fall in love with me…….
Maybe sitting across from him……was going a bit too far…….forget it I'll just move a little…….still…..it doesn't change the fact that we're alone together….
" I'm Going Home"
What got into him all of the sudden?.......whatever going home by himself at this hour is dangerous! …..
Siwon grabbed Yesung hand to stop him but Yesung slapped him.
My mind…… went completely blank….
Siwon shoved Yesung to the wall and kissed him on the lips.
" no….don't ….why are you…..doing this" Yesung collapsed in the flood crying " why".
"That's….. obvious isn't it" Siwon said " because I……….. I love you!"
" I hate you! I don't want to see you again!" Yesung screamed out.
My first confession ever…….unsurprisingly ended in failure……..even so I still…..wanted to see your smile……your smile just for me……..I really wanted it..
No matter how many times you rejected me…….because I wanted to do something to make you lash out at me…….I've truly fallen hopelessly in love with you………and somehow… …….. I guess you did too……….fell in love with me……..
Freshman year……December (Christmas)
"You're late! You Know how long I've been waiting" Siwon shouted at Yesung.
"So what? Yeah, so I overslept……but I was only late by five minutes!" Yesung shouted back.
"Overslept!? I couldn't even fall asleep last night! I can't believe you!" Siwon said to him.
"That's your problem" Yesung replayed to him.
"You never cease to prove what a horrible man you are" Siwon said to him.
Yesung just sighed then grabbed Siwon hands " This is our first Christmas together….. Let's not fight anymore…..okay?"
It's not our first Christmas together, actually…….but I'm never going to tell you that…….…It's going to be my secret…....
You're the only one I see to the point that it saddens me…….. THE END
