(no subject)
Hello everyone! So, its been awhile since my last confession..umm I mean post..But really not too much exciting things have been happening so. Pretty much work. I did hit up a couple of BBQ's on Saturday which were kinda fun. The most fun of it was trying to keep my drunken roomate controlled. hehe.
The actual reason for my post though is actually on a sad note. I found out today that one of my more favorite customers at work Mr Yuasa, passed away last week. As you all know, its really sad when someone passes away. But I am always more taken aback when someone dies alone, cuz it really just breaks my heart. Mr Yuasa was in his 70's and his wife is unfortunaly in a nursing home. Apparently he died on Monday last week, but his body wasnt found until Friday. That tears me apart, that someone has to die alone and not be found. His son came by Wednesday, knocked on the door and there was no answer. He was worried, but waited till Friday to actually go inside himself and check. His son found him, and his son is mentally challenged. I cant even imagine how that must have felt for him. As the neighbour was filling me in on all this, I looked down at the mail I had for Mr. Yuasa. He had a letter with very bad writing that I assumed was a grandchild. The neighbour informed me that it was in fact from the son that found him. Sometimes life is just too hard. Mr Yuasa, was outside often working in his garden. He always had a smile. He always wanted extra McDonalds coupons cuz he loved Egg McMuffins and he was always worried when his bills didnt come the day he expected. He was Japanese, and always wore a headband which prompted me to call him Mr Meeogi. He was just a nice old man, and I feel terrible that he died the way he did. I know you all didnt know him, but I wanted to do something in tribute to him, so this is it.
So, hug a loved one, call your mom or dad..Something, cuz we are all very lucky people, and we shouldnt take that for granted.
