Life in the city, life in general.

"Im Caught In The Grip Of The City...Madness" -Sean Lennon from Madness with Deltron 3030.
That about explains the first week and a bit that I have been back from LA. The first day back to work there was a TTC strike, which was huge even if for only a day, all while going through the same heat wave that I know a lot of you also went through.. Then there was the terrorist cell that was brought down about 20 minutes from where I live...It was in the NorthWest end of Mississauga.. They apparently seized something like 3 Tonnes of Ammodium Nitrate, God knows what else right now. To put that into perspective, they only used 1 Tonne of that to blow up the federal building in Oklahoma...The crazy thing is that like 5 of the terrorists were young offenders under the age of 18..Fanaticism is a very very dangerous tool. Today one of my co-workers passed along pictures of one of the young guys from his hockey team photos..He actually coached this kid and said that really he was a polite soft spoken respectful kid..It just shows you that you never know. That dose of reality though kinda brings you back to ground level. But having said that, good work to the police forces and whoever else got that broken up before anything tragic happened.

Otherwise, life in general is great! As the end of our contract at work nears they have typically started to enforce stupid petty rules and such at work that makes my day longer but really I dont care, works work right? Yesterday I finally got around to shaving for the first time since the Saturday night Bus wait outside the Hilton in Pasadena and I still have to unpack most stuff..Other stuff was just dumped in a pile to go through at a later date. I also paid bills and paid rent..Stuff I had been putting off but should'nt have. The best part of life though? That would have to be everything that is going on with Lana right now. Things have been going very well with us and plans are being made and futures are being developed and it is all very very exciting...And I get to see her very soon, but still not soon enough. Thats about it for now!
