Summary: This is the love and also life story (okay until their twenties) of Sungmin, Kyuhyun, Eunhyuk, Donghae and Ryeowook. The story tells about how they grow up and closer and also how they will find their first and maybe ever-lasting love.

"So... this is the room.", Sungmin exhaled deeply and threw his baggage into the next corner. "Which bed do you want, Kyu?"

"I... I actually don't care. I'm taking the one you don't take, Hyung.", Kyuhyun said with a smile, inspecting the room he'll share with that special person for the next 6 nights.

"I'm taking the one over there, okay? You take the bed next to the window. Protect me if a murderer comes!", Sungmin grinned and jumped on his bed, making it making cracking noises.

"But Hyung, you are doing Martial Arts!", Kyuhyun complained but sat down on his bed nevertheless.

"How did you know?"

"You were doing it ever since we were little kids.", Kyuhyun said quietly. Was it pathetic that he remembered so much about Sungmin while Sungmin didn't remember anything?

"Oh! Your memory is really good!", Sungmin said, eyes lighting up. "And Kyu, you... you like playing games, right?", he asked with a grin.

Kyuhyun blinked. "Uhm, yes, Hyung, that's right!" He then thought about how to react. "Your memory is really good, too!", was the next thing that came to his mind. Incredibly creative, he had to admit.

"Aahhh, it's embarassing now, but I actually heard Donghae complaining about it recently.", Sungmin said shyly while scratching the back of his head.

"Then your memory is bad.", Kyuhyun commented, half-jokingly, half-disappointed. He stood up from his bed and opened his suitcase. Sungmin giggled and stood up, too.

"I think I'm going out a bit... I always wanted to see the beach at night and my head still hurts a bit. Some fresh air would be good, I think.", he said and went out of the room, not forgetting to take out his phone from his bag of course.

Sungmin turned on his phone when he was standing on the floor. He had turned it off for the trip to Jeju Island because of the apparently bad connection on sea anyway. His phone immediately rang a few extimated thousand times the moment it had connection and Sungmin almost dropped it from shock. He could think of the reason though.

From: Haerim

Have you arrived yet? How was the trip?

From: Haerim

I'm worried, why aren't you answering?

From: Haerim

I told you to call me before you go onto the boat!

From: Haerim

Now I have no idea at what time you most probably arrive. You have no idea how I feel!

And about 52 other similar messages. Sungmin sighed and looked at the number of missed calls. 36. Not much better. His phone rang again and this time, it was a call.

"Hello?", he answered the call, exhaling deeply because yes, he was slightly annoyed. Slightly.

"What were you doing the whole time? I was worried to death that the boat might have drowned and you would have died or that someone kidnapped you or-"

"-had my phone turned off because I wouldn't have any network connection on sea anyway? Haerim, I really appreciate that you care about me a lot but I can survive about 3 hours without you. I'm sorry that you were worried, but right now, I don't really feel good because I was seasick I'm calling you tomorrow, okay?", Sungmin said in one breathe, trying to avoid another waterfall of complainings from his girlfriend.

"What? I need to talk to you right now and-"

"Haerim, I'm going on the beach now. There might be a better connection than in here so I'm calling you back, okay?"

It was silent for three seconds before Haerim spoke up again. "Okay."

Sungmin almost grinned when he finally could hang up his phone. Now he had some time to think about what to say in order to calm down Haerim. The truth, what else? He hadn't done anything wrong. But Sungmin had the uncertain feeling that the truth wasn't always the best solution when it came to those kind of matters. With Haerim.

He was almost dared to turn of his phone again, but no. Definitely not. Bad, bad. bad idea. Sungmin was close to pulling out his hair when he came closer to the beach with every second. Maybe there was a chance to come out of that situation. Alive.

"Haerim?"

"Minnie!", his girlfriend cheered when hearing his voice.

"So... uhm, well, the network connection on sea was really bad, that's why I turned off my phone." Sungmin was trying to survive by saying the truth.

"Oh, is that so?", Haerim asked. "Did you have fun on your trip then?", she continued and there was this weird undertone again that almost made Sungmin shivering everytime he herad it.

"Uhm. Well, the bus trip was good, I talked to Kyuhyunnie and Donghae... and on the boat I got seasick.", he said carefully. You never know.

"Oh, seasick? Do you feel better?"

"Yeah, better. Fresh air on the beach, you know?", Sungmin said in relief when he heard the tension in Haerim's voice faded.

"Are you sure? You sound... tense."

Who sounds tense? That should be you, not me., Sungmin thought and sighed. "I'm... I'm okay. I think I'm still feeling a bit dizzy."

"Then take a walk, in- and exhale deeply to get some oxygen into your brain and I'll call you tomorrow, okay? I don't think that talking on the phone too long will be a good idea now.", Haerim said softly and Sungmin sighed again. Girls. Confusing like nothing else. Furies the one and angels the next second. "Good night and take care."

"Have some sweet dreams.", Sungmin said just as softly and hung up with a smile.

He was still smiling while walking in the sand, slowly, and looking at the black sea next to him. The cozy wind was breezing through his hair and he felt how his headache disappeared. For a moment, he forgot about Haerim.

"Hyung!", a voice behind him called out and when Sungmin turned around, he saw Kyuhyun approaching him.

"Kyuhyun?", he asked, half-surprised, half-glad. Kyuhyun was slightly panting when he reached Sungmin and sent him a shy smile.

"Hyung." he said again, not really sure of what to say else when Sungmin was looking at him with those eyes.

"What are you doing here? I thought you were unpacking your stuff?"

"I'm done. And then I realized that I never walked on the beach at night so here I am!", Kyuhyun said and looked anywhere but not at Sungmin.

"Didn't know you had that romantic side.", Sungmin chuckled. "Plus, we still have about 6 nights here, instead of going to sleep and get a bit  rest, you follow your seasick Hyung, who could vomit right into your face every moment, to the beach."

"Hyung, are you okay?", Kyuhyun asked when he noticed that slightly sarcastic undertone that he barely knew from Sungmin.

Sungmin had a short moment of surprise when he saw that Kyuhyun obviously knew him better than he had thought. "Your memory is really good...", he said quietly.

"Huh? Come again?", Kyuhyun asked when the wind wheezed louder than the words coming out of Sungmin's mouth.

"No, nothing. It's just... Kyuhyun, how old are you?"

"I just turned 15."

"Right, you were two years younger than me. Did you already have a girlfriend?"

Kyuhyun shook his head. "Nope." He had to smile when he remembered the little promise Sungmin had once made. When you're 15, I'll give you a girlfriend as a present. He hadn't kept it, of course, how, if he barely remembered Kyuhyun, but Kyuhyun didn't care. What did he need a girlfriend for if he had Sungmin?

"And to be honest... I don't want to crush your dreams but you can say that girls are rather... difficult to deal with, sometimes. And Haerim happens to be one of the rather diffcult girls. She cares a lot about me, maybe too much...", Sungmin sighed. He looked into the dark sky and it was silent. After a few seconds, he slightly leapt, cauding Kyuhyun to jerk.

"But why am I telling you this? You are probably not even interested in my problems. Sorry, Kyuhyun."

Kyuhyun blushed and didn't even know why. "Uhm, it's okay, Hyung."

Sungmin gave him a bright grin. "You are such a nice boy, Kyuhyun. I'm sure that you'll treat your girlfriend really well. She'll be lucky."

Kyuhyun felt his face heating up some more. What had happened to his oh-so-snarky-and-evil attitude again?

"You are actually the first person ever to say that I'm nice." Sungmin chuckled.

"I heard that. You don't really seem snarky to me though." Sungmin closed his eyes when a short scene suddenly flashed across his mind. It was too short to recognize it though.

I hate you.

Sungmin's phone rang. Sungmin sighed and took it out, sending Kyuhyun an apologizing look.

"I thought you were asleep, Haerim.", he answered the call and kicked the sand in front of him.

"Yeah - but I wanted to ask you something.", Haerim said and her voice was tense again. Sungmin sighed at the rollercoast called the mood swings of his girlfriend.

He didn't notice the worried glance he earned from Kyuhyun.

"Is something wrong?"

"No, what would be wrong?", Sungmin said innocently.

"You sighed."

"I didn't!"

"You did!"

"Haerim, please just tell me what you wanted to know. I doubt that you just called me to ask if something was wrong."

"Am I annoying you?"

Okay, now think about it. Be honest and risk your life or lie and risk your sanity. Sungmin mentally noted never to go on vacation without his girlfriend again.

"No! How did you even get that idea?", Sungmin exclaimed, deciding that his sanity wouldn't be worth anything without his life.

"I'm just wondering... I called you to ask you about the trip, by the way. How are the others?"

"What?", Sungmin asked. Since when did Haerim care about his classmates?

"I was asking how the others are. Donghae, Kyuhyun and such. Your friends."

Sungmin frowned. Okay, he was officially confused. "Uhm, Donghae was with Kibum and he is fine... Kyuhyun was keeping me company when I was seasick... and I don't know about the others, I was kinda busy with myself."

"Kyuhyun was-", Haerim started but their conversation was interrupted when Sungmin suddenly felt that his phone wasn't in his hand anymore.

"What the-"

"I'm sorry. The number you have reached is not available. Please check the number or try your call again.", Kyuhyun said into the phone, voice perfectly imitating the telephone woman's. He grinned when he heard the line being cut off.

"Kyuhyun!", Sungmin said in shock. Kyuhyun turned off his phone and gave it back to his Hyung. "Kyuhyun!", Sungmin said again and stared at the other boy in disbelief.

"What?", the younger asked, portraying the perfect image of a clueless, innocent boy.

"You just took my phone, told my girlfriend that the line died and turned it off!"

"I know.", Kyuhyun said and smirked to himself while watching the sea. He didn't regret anything.

"Could you tell me why then?", Sungmin said furiously while fumbling with his phone again, about to turn it on.

"Don't.", Kyuhyun said and took the phone again.

"Kyuhyun!", Sungmin said angrily and stomped up with his feet. Kyuhyun found it adorable.

"Hyung, you seemed annoyed so I took that heavy burden from your shoulders." Sungmin kept staring at him.

"Kyuhyun, when the line dies, nobody says that sentence. That sentence comes up when you call and nobody picks up at first place. When the line dies, there is just this annoying peeping.", was all he managed to say. Kyuhyun's mouth opened to a round 'o'.

"What a pity. But I suck at doing that peep tone! I can pull off that line way better.", he said. Sungmin sighed and looked at the phone in Kyuhyun's hand.

"Can I get my phone back then?", he said in defeat.

"If you call her again, I'll take it.", Kyuhyun threatened, raising an eye brow as he returned it to Sungmin.

"She'll kill me."

"Let's walk a bit.", Kyuhyun said cheerfully and began to go while dragging Sungmin along.

"Kyuhyun, you don't even know what-"

"She was annoying you so I took it as my quest to free you from your misery."

Sungmin smiled weakly. "She'll be angry..."

"Actually, she most probably is already."

"Thank you?", Sungmin said with voice dripping from sarcasm.

"Hyung, I wanted to help you! I'm glad that you try your best to please her but seeing you suffer isn't the right way to do it. Be a bit selfish."

Sungmin just sighed again.

"She annoys you but you still love her?", Kyuhyun asked curiously. His own question way stabbing his heart into a million pieces but he needed to know it now.

Sungmin hesistated and even stopped walking. Kyuhyun felt his heart returning into his old state. "Tha-that's a weird question."

"No, it's not. It's reasonable."

"Of course I love her.", Sungmin said quietly and looked away. Kyuhyun hoped that it was not because of a blush.

"But she annoys you?"

"What does annoy even mean? I mean-"

"Hyung."

"From time to time."

Kyuhyun remained silent and gave Sungmin a smile, not a smirk, that made the latter feeling warmer. Sungmin found himself smiling back.

"She is really possessive sometimes and I know that she just cares about me and is worried but I need some freedom. I don't have any time since we got together."

"So now you have some time.", Kyuhyun said and grinned. Sungmin hit his arm jokingly.

"I can't be angry at you. Too adorable.", Sungmin grinned back and pinched Kyuhyun's cheeks. "Or maybe something inside my memory keeps me from being angry at you. We were close, I suppose."

Kyuhyun struggled to get away from Sungmin's touch. His body didn't want but his mind told him to.

"Are you sure that you love her?", Kyuhyun asked, hoping that his voice didn't sound too hopeful.

Sungmin looked at him, position frozen but then relaxed. "I actually don't know. Her possessiveness turns me off."

Kyuhyun made a little victory dance in his head.

"Why am I even telling you all this?", Sungmin murmured then.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"Good night, Hyung.", Kyuhyun whispered into the darkness and grinned when he heard the faint and tired reply from his roommate.

He turned to the window and stared at the closed curtains. After a few minutes, he felt his eye-lids getting heavier and was just about to drift off to sleep, when he heard a noise on the other side of the room. Kyuhyun was about to turn around when he already felt something next to him in the bed. That someone wrapped his arms around Kyuhyun's waist and buried his face in Kyuhyun's neck crotch.

Kyuhyun didn't have to turn around to know who it was. Despite the fact that he didn't hear the door opening, he would have known it. That smell.

"Hyung?", he asked carefully, not believing what was happening to him.

The answer was a soft snore and Kyuhyun didn't know if he wanted to cry or to laugh.

It was not what Kyuhyun had expected. The closeness, the warmth, the smell, Sungmin. All this was too incredible to be true. Noctambulism wasn't new to Kyuhyun; how many nights had he already woken up because Donghae had been rummaging in the kitchen? But it was some completely different with Sungmin. First of all, Kyuhyun didn't know that he sleepwalked since he hadn't been doing it in their childhood, second, Sungmin had crawled into his bed, next to him, hugging him.

Kyuhyun hoped that Sungmin's unconscious mind had been telling him to do this. And he was afraid that Sungmin didn't know that it was Kyuhyun he was practically sleeping with but imagined it being someone else. Well, actually Kyuhyun was convinced that it was the latter.

Oh screw it, you idiot. Just enjoy the moment., Kyuhyun cursed himself then. He doubted that he would be able to fall asleep in the night though.

Sungmin seemed to like what he was feeling under his arm as he hovered his leg over Kyuhyun's thighs after a while, causing his Dongsaeng to stop breathing. His face remained in its position though and Kyuhyun was almost thinking that his Hyung was... smelling his scent.

Ridiculous, Kyuhyun.

Kyuhyun wanted to look at the clock, checking what time it already was but Sungmin's whole body was preventing him from doing so. So he just surrendered (What does surrender even mean? You love it, Cho!) to his situation and closed his eyes with a smile on his lips.

He just couldn't fall asleep. He just couldn't. Kyuhyun cursed again, scolded himself as he suddenly felt something uncomfortable in his pants, exactly between his legs.

Stupid hormones. Fuck.

Yup, the fact that Sungmin was practically pressing his whole body against Kyuhyun's back with his leg over his waist didn't let that much left for his imagination.

I can't sleep like this.

Wait. Why not? It was even the only way for him to fall asleep ten years ago.

Times change you.

Sungmin was warm and without being offending, squishy. Kyuhyun imagined how it would be to fall asleep this way every single day of his life.

Heaven.

Wait, was he drooling?

What is wrong with you, idiot? Stop talking to yourself. Stop drooling. Sleep. SLEEP GODDAMNIT!

Kyuhyun forgot about Sungmin in his self-conflict and fell asleep after a while.

-------------------------

"OH MY GOD. JESUS FUCKING CHRIST. What am I doing here?", Sungmin woke up, Kyuhyun under his arm and between his leg and the bed.

Kyuhyun continued sleeping, because the last thing he wanted was the uncomfortable confrontation with the current situation.

He felt the bed moving under him when Sungmin tried his best to stand up without making any noise, only to sneak into the bathroom where Kyuhyun soon heard the sound of running water.

What was more adorable than Sungmin? Right, Sungmin in an embarrassing situation.

Kyuhyun hoped that his acting skills weren't the worst in the world when Sungmin came back into the bedroom. He yawned and moved slowly, pulling the blanket over his head when he felt a bright sunray hitting his face.

"Are you awake, Kyuhyunnie?", Sungmin asked shyly when he saw his roommate coming to life.

"Mmh... Just woke up.", Kyuhyun murmured sleepily and smiled at his Hyung.

"Di-did you notice anything weird in your sleep?", Sungmin asked hesitatingly and looked anywhere but not into Kyuhyun's eyes.

"No, why?"

Sungmin blushed. Hard. He turned around and began to unnecessarily unfold his perfectly neatly folded shirts only to fold them again.

"Ju-just wondering. I thought I heard a noise out there...", he murmured while discovering the undeniable fascination of dust fizzles.

"I didn't hear anything.", Kyuhyun shrugged, glad that his Hyung wasn't looking at him to see the winning smirk that his lips had curved into.

"Hyung, come on, we have to go breakfast.", he said then and stood up.

"You haven't dressed yet...", Sungmin reminded him, glad about the change of topic.

"Yeah, right!", Kyuhyun said and immediately pulled his pajama top over his head.

"Y-ya! What do you think are you doing?", Sungmin said without thinking, a faint blush creeping up his cheeks because of the embarrassing situation.

"Dressing up?", Kyuhyun replied dryly, rummaging through his baggage while only standing in boxers. "Why, Hyung?"

Sungmin pouted and left the room, not forgetting to snatch his phone though. "It's nothing.", he murmured before closing the door.

"You could have waited for me...", Kyuhyun said quietly to himself, his own lips forming a disappointed pout.

Sungmin would have if he hadn't been that confused and mixed-up. He turned on his phone and was greeted with a choir of vibrations once again. Haerim didn't seem to take it as easy as he had been. Oh, and a few messages by Hyukjae. Sungmin decided that his twin brother was more important. Something bad could have happened at home. Or maybe he was just being a coward.

"Hyukkie?", he said into the phone after he had dialed the number of his precious Dongsaeng.

"Sungmin Hyung! Why did it take so long? I've been calling you numerous times and-"

"It's 7 AM. I was most probably asleep.", Sungmin said. "Did something happen?"

"That's what I wanted to ask you! Did something happen?"

Sungmin was confused now, despite the fact that he had already been the whole morning.

"Why would something happen?"

"Donghae!", Hyukjae yelled into the phone and something inside of Sungmin's head made 'click'.

"OH! Uhm... He shares a room with Kibummie and he was happy seeing fish in the sea and as far as I know, no girl really came close to him.", Sungmin reported but it didn't seem to console the other boy in any way.

"Kibum?", Hyukjae asked in disbelief and Sungmin heard his brother gasping for air.

"Yeah, what's wrong with Kibum?", Sungmin frowned and stopped walking.

"How could you let this happen? Can't you... can't you see the glances he sends Donghae?"

"No. Besides, he has a girlfriend."

"Hyung! You should know that Jessica is just to cover up the obvious feelings he has for Donghae! I mean, Hae is irresistible, who could ever not fall in love with him?"

"How about me?", Sungmin asked and almost laughed out loud. "You are funny and paranoid, monkey face."

"Stop calling me that! And take care of that disaster you created!"

"That I created? Puh-leese, you're weird. I promise you that nothing'll happen between those two. I have other problems right now."

Hyukjae seemed to believe his beloved Hyung as he immediately focused his attention on Sungmin's problem.

"What happened? Oh wait, let me guess, it's Haerim."

"How did you know?", Sungmin asked in surprise and slowly heard the noises of people in the room in front of him, the breakfast/diner hall.

"Just a guess. Tell me."

"She is calling me non-stop!"

"How do you even survive that?"

"Well, yesterday, Kyuhyun took my phone while I was calling her and turned it off and now she is most probably really furious and I'm afraid to call her now."

"Oh."

"Oh? OH? Lee Hyukjae, you are NOT helping me!", Sungmin said and began to flail.

"Hey, Sungmin hyung!", someone accompanied him and Sungmin soon found Donghae's arm around his shoulder. "Who are you talking to? Let me guess, Haerim Sunbae?"

Sungmin was slightly overchallenged with the current situation.

"No, ehm. I mean, yes and just... give me a minute, Hae.", he murmured and went away. Unfortunately, a certain twin brother of him had pretty much heard everything of his and Donghae's conversation.

"Was that Donghae?", Hyukhae immediately asked and Sungmin silently cursed.

"Yeah.", he admitted.

"Was Kibum with him?" Sungmin wanted to be with his brother now, in hope he could punch his face then.

"No.", he lied. There was another, way bigger problem, okay?

"Are you sure? I just want to know if I am supposed to worry, it won't help me if you lie.", Hyukjae said, voice having a hurt undertone.

Sungmin realized that he was wrong to lie to his brother and sighed. "Hyukkie, I'm sorry. But I'm quite sure that Kibum only has eyes for his girlfriend, so please stop being paranoid. I can help you to find out if Hae likes you, okay?"

He practically heard his brother beaming. Oh, what did he bring himself into?

"Really, Hyung? Really, really, really?", Hyukjae said with a squeaking voice that made Sungmin almost rolling his eyes if he didn't think that his twin was one of the most adorable things to ever appear on the world.

"Really, Hyukjae. Now listen to me."

"Okay, tell me!", Hyukjae said, now attention fully drown on Sungmin  after he got what he had wanted.

"This morning... I woke up."

"Wow! Surprise! And then? Don't tell me you brushed your teeth!"

"Ya! I said listen to me!", Sungmin complained and Hyukhae grinned as he heard the obvious pout in his brother's voice.

"Go on then."

"I woke up in Kyuhyun's bed."

There was silence which seemed like a million years to Sungmin.

"Oh."

"Oh? Lee Hyukjae!", Sungmin whined and everyone in the lobby stared at the weird, 17-year old boy that suddenly had begun to flail all over the place.

"I mean. Oh."

"Stop oh-ing me, Eunhyuk.", Sungmin scoffed.

"Why?", Eunhyuk finally managed to let a proper word coming from his lips.

"I don't know! I was just laying in his bed and he next to me and my arm was on his waist and my leg was hovered over his thigh and he smelled really good and I'm just confused right now."

"Yeah. I can understand that. Did you sleep-walk?"

"I obviously did but why into his bed?"

"You missed him so much.", Eunhyuk giggled and earned a virtual slap by Sungmin.

"I did not. You know that I don't even remember him."

"Well then. I cannot help you, sorry.", Eunhyuk said and Sungmin just sighed.

"However, thanks for the worry even though if was about Donghae-"

"About you too!"

"Alright, and about me and have a nice day. I'll prepare myself to die now."

"Haerim?"

"Haerim."

"Told you.", Eunhyuk murmured, not realizing that his brother could still hear him.

"Told me what?"

"Huh? Oh, nothing."

A/N: I'm so productive, I would deserve a reward. LOL Today TRAX's new MV 'Blind' came out so I wasn't in the mood to write KyuMin any more (FUCK YOU CHO KYUHYUN) and just ended that conversation between twins!HyukMin. I love them, okay.
Need to focus on school now but I still have my iPod. Since sleep isn't that important, I try to write in my bed before I fall asleep. Love you, guys.
